My bad, i did not kno about your group tip notice on your menu. Still, i feel the customer should be left with determining the tip amount whether its a group of 12 people or 1 person.

Whether takeout or dine in, this is such a staple! The food is great and the service is fast. Been coming here for over a decade. Also best thing to order if you’re feeling sick. Thanks Golden Turtle!

One of our absolute favourite spots in the city! Great patio in summer and soul-warming pho year round. Family run, speedy service, delicious flavours. Must visit when on the Ossington strip!
I thought to give it another chance... Its my2nd time disappointment in this restaurant. I walked in to take out Pad thai. the cashier didn't asked me if large or XL she charged me with the XL i was expecting it would be really extra large. I lived 2 blocks from this place. When i get home the portion is Large size only... 12 pieces of shaved thin slices of beef not much bean sprout or any veggie nor cilantro garnish. too dlsappointed the meat is room tempersture as it is been cooked early today blunt taste. noodles just a bit warm. I am hoping am eating a hot pad thai for 2 blocks away i don t think it get only this warm not hot meal. Too much msg taste no umami taste as real pad thai.. not even peanut taste..the restaurant is not busy only 3 people in the side patio. So why room temperature food for my take out.I will never eat or recommed this place.
I was really hesitant on leaving this review. I always love supporting family owned shops and I find the staff to be very welcoming. I've had some good experiences in the past but the food was not edible this time around. The main issues was the pork in the pork vermicelli. It was flavorless but worst thing was it was completely overcooked. Some pieces almost had the texture of beef jerky. I had something hard I bit into and couldn't chew, I thought it was a super dry peanut or something , nope it was just a chunk of pork. It was almost as if the meat was a day or two old and it was just re-heated or something. The portion sizes of the bowls are considerably smaller than I remember. One positive I would say is that their recent renovations including the washrooms, main dining room and patio are a nice upgrade from before. I just wish they spent more care and time on the food. I won't be giving this place a try again nor will I be recommending it.

Owner was rude when the restaurant was empty. Felt like we were intruding on his break. Food was terrible. I could probably make better pho and I’ve never tried.

Ordered from here on DoorDash last night and was thoroughly disappointed. The portion size for the price was a joke, you can go to most other Vietnamese restaurants and get almost double the size. I ordered the bun thit nuong and the grilled pork did not taste grilled at all. It was chewy and tasted like it was baked in a white lady’s oven, ie: no flavour. There was more lettuce than vermicelli in my bowl and I don’t even have words to describe the state of the spring roll. The only reason I gave this two stars instead of one was because the fresh roll was alright, but literally anyone can make a fresh roll.

Vermicelli bowls and fresh rice paper rolls are delish. So are all the little fixins on the side. Craving that beef bowl now!!!!

Love this place. I’ve started to order off uber instead of eating in and quality is still 100%. This week I added a beef banh mi to my order. It was $10 which is fine but I opened it and thought oh that’s small… okay it’s STUFFED full of meat. And super super tasty meat at that. Small but mighty, would 100% recommend. I’ve had their pho and bun and they’re both 5 stars. Great flavour and nice staff. Nice side patio too, great in summer for a bowl of pho with a cold beer.

The banh mi I ordered had a strong smell and did not taste as fresh as the ones from other Vietnamese restaurants. The fresh roll sauce was also just ok. Not the best I’ve had

I ordered a bún gà xào sả ớt and I loved it! However, I also ordered the chicken fried rice, and it wasn’t anything special — just standard.

Ordered some take out for 7 of us to enjoy. The noodles, spring rolls and everything else tasted great. Texture wasn’t as fresh due to it being eaten 30 min after being cooked but that’s fine. Will go back one day for bun.
