We've passed by Pho Rang Dong many times but never went in. Somebody told us that it's pretty good pho a while ago, so after tobogganing, we decided to try it. The woman serving us was super nice and seemed to know some other customers by name. She urged me to try the hot and sour pho, which I did. The soup was delicious. not too sweet and just a bit spicy. I got it with seafood. The shrimp were perfectly done. great sides, like sprouts, basil, lime and cilantro.
My wife got the rare beef pho and she said it was good too.
They accommodated my son's food requests no problem as well.
we'll definitely be back.

The older lady was very rude during the interaction. She began speaking angrily to another woman in a language I didn’t understand, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful since we were communicating in English. On top of that, she tried to pressure me into paying for something I did not want, which made the experience even more uncomfortable.

Me and my fiancé have been eating here for a couple of years now. It’s such a calming, traditional Vietnamese vibe. It’s my favourite pho in the city (simple, not too salty). The mango salad and fresh rolls are both apps to try. The price is also very fair and affordable compared to other pho restaurants that are not as authentic as Rang Dong. Lovely owner and quick service.

The woman who runs this place is an absolute powerhouse who keeps everything running smoothly and makes you feel welcome. Had the lg special pho, and fresh beef rolls. Nice table setup, where the condiments are placed on their own pedestal like station above each table. Interesting pho which, for some reason, they always include slices of chicken with their beef pho dishes. Their fresh rolls have 3 instead of the usual 2 in most 'V' restaurants, ... 👍!!! Pricing is very reasonable unlike some 'V' restaurants in the burbs and downtown.
Will return for sure when in the area and that crav8ng for a nice hot bowl of pho hits me (winter is just around the corner!!!).
I was on St. Clair Ave W when I remember about all the great Vietnamese restaurants in that area. I went to Pho Rang Dong for dinner. The restaurant was not very crowded, but the service was not very friendly. I was not offered any water and was given a piece of paper to write down what I wanted.
I ordered the beef rolls and the XL beef soup. The food arrived quickly, but I don't know why restaurants bring out the main dish when I have not finished my appetizer. The beef rolls was okay, but chewy. The soup was okay, but the broth lacked flavour. Not much noodle and the beef was kind of stale
