Good Vietnamese joint on Spadina. Entrance is a bit hidden. Atmosphere is good, service is good. Food came out fast. Will come back to try other options.

Rice dish looked unappetizing, pho had no flavor. Restaurant was very clean though so maybe that was the only good thing.

Broth is good. Beef good. Pork chops good. But they NEVER add the hot and Hoysein sauce!!!!!! Plus, this happened 3 times, that I ordered XL size and I got the normal size. BEWARE. Do NOT get scammed on the UberEats sizing option

toronto objectively has terrible pho so by objective standards this place gets a 6/10 but by toronto standards i'd say it's a 7.5/10. the pho is ok but the bun bo hue is not good

-fresh pho noodles
-good options for customizability
-ample seating without feeling crowded
-ideally pay with cash

Discovered this restaurant when browsing for dinner. Located at 2nd floor and not visible from the sidewalk. Surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Good food and good service.

Decent Vietnamese food at a reasonable price with quick service. The dishes came out fast, tasted fresh, and the portions were satisfying for the cost. The restaurant was clean, but it's worth noting that there are quite a few stairs to reach the dining area — something to keep in mind for anyone with mobility concerns. One small downside was the strong scent of the floor cleaner (Jax); it was a bit overpowering. I’d recommend switching to an unscented product to make the dining experience more pleasant. Otherwise, it’s a solid spot for a quick and tasty Vietnamese meal!

This place is up a flight of stairs and conveniently located in Chinatown just off Spadina. The dining room has lots of seating. I think this place is fine if you’re hungry and fine with okay food at a reasonable price point.

Staff are not the most attentive and often forgot things throughout our visit, like cutlery, and even components of the dishes we ordered.

Had the grilled chicken with rice and that was fine but the chicken itself was pretty tough. They also are pretty messy with plating because the plate itself looks greasy with them handling it in the kitchen before it gets to us.

My absolute favorite go to place for pho dac biet (beef pho with skinny noodles)!! We also ordered through Uber. I love the durian shake , so thick flavourful and creamy !! I've been coming here since I was young . Amazing and quick service thank you so much

Will start with the positives: courteous staff, cheap prices ($12 for a small pho), good family/chill energy especially because I was grabbing a quick bite after weekend errands.

The negatives: I ordered a basic rare beef pho (small) and shrimp rice paper rolls. The noodles in my pho were clumpy - at first I thought I got the wrong noodle type (I didn't. Mostly were clumpy and some were normal noodles you'd get in any basic pho).

The rolls were tasteless and mostly packed with noodles. No veggies, just lettuce. The quality of the shrimp weren't there.

Conclusion: Despite the cheap prices, and the small portion size offered for my small appetite, I will not be back.

A lovely spot to enjoy pho with a view!

Pho Xe Lua is a great place to grab a comforting bowl of pho right in the heart of Chinatown. The location is a real gem!! from upstairs, you get a beautiful view overlooking the bustling streets below, which really adds to the experience.

The pho itself has an acceptable quality — the broth is warm and satisfying, and the portion sizes are generous. It’s not the most extraordinary pho I’ve ever had, but it definitely hits the spot, especially if you’re out exploring the area and want something tasty and filling.

Friendly service, good prices, and a location that lets you soak in the Chinatown vibe from above!!

definitely worth a visit!
