I ordered the mussels and requested some bread on the side. Unfortunately, the grill used to toast the bread hadn’t been cleaned properly, resulting in a strong burnt taste that made the bread inedible.

I usually prefer mussels served with broth, and so these felt a bit dry for my liking.

On a positive note, the service was quite friendly, and the location is central to a lot of entertainment options.

Asked for patio seating and was told that there was one reserved table. I told the waitress that I would wait for a table. Few minutes later a white couple came without a reservation and they were given the reserve table. Thinking about filing a HRTO application against the restaurant based on discrimination.

I used to like this place, but it’s gone downhill fast. I brought a friend recently and ordered an Aperol Spritz, which turned out to be the worst cocktail I’ve ever had—tiny, poorly made, and downright disgusting. It was embarrassing to bring someone here. This place has really changed for the worse. Won’t be coming back.

My fiancé and I came for weekend brunch. I liked the chai latte. The sunny chicken parm was good, but it was a very small portion and overpriced. My fiancé ordered the French Italian toast. His order took so long to prepare that I had finished my food while it was still hot before his food was ready.

Would not recommend as there are better brunch options in the area.

Atmosphere is really good. My friend took me here for the first time.
I ordered matcha latte and my friend had a cocktail. She liked her cocktail but my matcha not blended well.
Service is fast and good.

Piccolo is such a magical place. A neighbourhood restaurant and bar in the middle of the city. Come here for great food and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for exploring the city or for going to the nearby baseball stadium.
