Good coffee & friendly staff. Patio looks great for the Summer. I got coffee & a croissant here for the first time this week.

Amazing atmosphere. Great food selections. Monday night is also half off bottle wine which was an awesome bonus for the evening. Would 1000% come here

I enjoyed my time at Piccolo, especially their recommended whisky sours. However, when settling the bill, the waiter's comment about not tipping left me unsettled telling me I should not come back. I believe it's the responsibility of the employer, not the customer, to ensure fair wages for the staff. The comment only reinforced my decision not to tip.

Stopped in for a quick drink and snacks before a show on King St. Great little find. Service was friendly and fast. The fried Artichokes and Italian Donuts were delicious. We’ll be back when we have more time.

Came for a Sunday brunch and the experience wasn't bad, but not as great as I'd hoped. Between two people, we ordered the tuscan potatoes, sunny chicken parmesan, tofu breakfast sandwich, and a cortado. The tuscan potatoes were mediocre - well seasoned and good cook, but definitely not worth $9 given the portion size and the lack of uniqueness. If the portion size was larger and served with a chipotle mayo or aioli or something more interesting than just ketchup, it could be a $9 plate but as it is right now, not worth the cost. The sunny chicken parmesan was as expected with a beautiful sunny side up egg, no complaints. The tofu breakfast sandwich had great flavour, but the bun was cold which is always disappointing (there were grill marks on the underside of the bun, but the top was cold to the touch and I've got cold hands). The cortado was pretty good, though slightly on the hot side where it could have (but didn't) burnt the milk or beans. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm.

The coffee was great but the cake I ordered made me feel nausea for the rest of the day. :(
