Restaurant was very cute and the staff were very all very nice. My biggest issue was a bit of slow service and no free refills on pop.

We visited on January 8 and I can’t thank our server,Daniel, enough for making my son’s “milestone” birthday a memorable one! The food was excellent and the lit birthday candle was a hilarious touch to the pillow-soft and perfect tiramisu Daniel brought my son for dessert. There was no down-side to our dinner - exceptional service and generous portions ensure a “next time.” Thank you, Daniel…and Pigeon.

We both had Benedict's - and while vastly different they were both fantastic! Would definitely return!

I was so surprised to see this place was below 4 stars. My partner and I went for a dinner on nye as it was right across from our hotel and the food was delicious. I had the chicken Mediterranean bowl and he had the pesto pasta with chicken. Both were really fresh and flavourful. We both had drinks which were the perfect mix of strong but tasty. The restaurant itself was super cute, warm and cozy. The waiter was friendly, quick and checked in often to make sure we were good. We would definitely return next time we’re in town!

Literally insanely horrible service, nobody knows what they are doing and they are constantly understaffed. The servers will ignore you for 20 mins+ when you arrive, mess things up, take so long, tell you they're coming back and don't. I have to ask for things multiple times before someone actually does it. They bring out the food dishes for the table at different times and don't check in at all. I've been here 4 times and every time has been insanely awful, I've never experienced worse customer service anywhere else. However the food is good

We went here for dinner on New Years Eve, we were surprised at how quiet it was. The food and drinks were delicious and very fresh, the ambiance was really cute and the waiter was lovely and high spirited. Looking forward to returning!

Service was lovely and what a beautiful atmosphere. It felt different than anything else i’ve experienced here in toronto. Will say that the cheesecake was not appealing. OH and i asked the bartender for a strawberry daiquiri and he said they didn’t have a blender… cool? Good thing it doesn’t need a blender?? It’s a daiquiri with strawberry syrup or purée which they had because it was on the menu for another drink.

TLDR; Go for the cocktails but don't eat there.

My husband took me there for dinner yesterday for my birthday before going to a show. We both ordered a cocktail and they were delicious! The Caesar was perfectly balanced. The Pidgeon eyes was sweet and fruity and so good.

We ordered the $50 three course prefix menu for our dinner. The tomato soup was tasty except it was extremely hot that we could hardly eat it. When we got to the last few bites is when it finally was the correct temperature to be able to eat. But I get it, soup should be hot.

Our steaks is where it really took a turn for the worst. When they first came out there looked good. They come already sliced which is a nice way to present them. They looked closer to medium well at first glance. Then we flipped the slices over to be greeted with raw meat. I am loathed to even call it rare. Clearly they cooked it, sliced it, realized it wasn't cooked, and stuck it under the grill to fix it. The fix didn't work.

So we sent it back. Which I absolutely hate doing but didn't want raw meat. They apologized. When they brought it out next, it looked good. They clearly stuck it under the grill to finish cooking the other side, which is fine. That is a valid way to do it. The issue came when they re-seasoned the whole thing. So now our steaks have been seasoned twice and were so salty that we couldn't eat them. We sent them back again.

By this point my husband was very upset. I was trying to keep the peace so that we could still have a nice evening for my birthday. Again they apologized and said they would make it right. This was the last time we saw our server. Someone else seemed to be looking after us.

When the plates finally came out to us the steaks were cooked well done. But it was better than being raw or badly over seasoned. We also didn't have time to do anything about it because of our show. So we ate then.

My husband was fuming at this point. They did let us know they gave us a discount for our meal which was appreciated.

When it came to dessert, I enjoyed my creme brulee. I liked the addition of fresh berries on top. My husband's fruit tart was served with a paper napkin between the tart and the plate. So as he was trying to eat his tart, the napkin was starting to tear and rip from the pastry cream. So he was having to pick pieces of napkin off of his spoon. We let our new server know that this was a poor choice of plating dessert.

As you can imagine my husband and I were not happy with our experience. It put a damper on my birthday celebration for the rest of the night. We do not recommend this place. They shouldn't have an item on the menu if no one in the kitchen can cook it. Save your money and go elsewhere.

They did keep refilling our water glasses. I liked that.
