I was very excited to try Pilot Coffee as I’ve heard a lot of great things about it. This location is small but with clean and simple decor. The brew of the day was Las Palmas so I was happy to try it because I knew it was a great bean, medium roast with a sweeter and creamier taste profile. Well, it did not taste as expected. It tasted acidic, bitter and diluted.. I couldn’t finish it, I am sorry as much as I would have loved to love it but just couldn’t. Staff was nice and friendly.

Me and my partner stopped by at the Pilot on Richmond and really enjoyed our interaction with Rafael. Sometimes it’s nice to meet people who love what they are doing. His knowledge about coffee, detailed description of the different kinds of coffee beans paired up with his passion are superb! Will definitely come back to get more coffee!

My daily coffee spot. I start my day here most days. Juan and Raphael are both great hosts, incredibly helpful, and very personable.
The coffee is fantastic and you can never go wrong with either an oatmeal scone or a slice of chocolate chip banana bread.

Pilot Roasters coffee is great, but their coffee shop service, not so much. The staff is not rude but couldn't care less about you, they are doing their own thing or on their phones and don't even remember who are you and what you ordered. My latte was partially spilled by them when delivered, I got no help whatsoever (it was not busy). Also, hugely overpriced for mediocre service.

Juan, gives amazing insights to help you navigate your coffee journey and has helped me discover new notes and flavours. My favourite order so far is the Long Black, a must try if you are a coffee lover!
