There’s a special here I recommend: 2 tacos + soft drink for $20+HST, it excludes the steak/shrimp versions. It comes with a serving tortilla chips and a shot cup of guacamole. The food is always fresh & tasty. If you’re looking for “the McDonald’s of tacos” this place is certainly not it! (Go to Taco Bell). Compared to Gus’ Taco, Piñata has a much better vibe (Gus’ feels like McCraps too). Fast, friendly service at Piñata Tacos!. Acceptable decor. Bar in the back portion - enjoy your tacos with Mexican beers! They also do burritos, fajitas & tortas (ie. sandwiches on Portuguese buns). Overall, a nice stop for a relatively quick & inexpensive meal. Highly recommended!!!

Came here last night for my birthday. Wanted to see if it was a fluke I enjoyed it so much on my first visit. It was not. These are the best tacos I have tasted outside of Mexico. Fantastic hidden gem.

Had steak burrito today via UberEats. I think it was one of the worst burritos I've ever had. Excessive amount of sauce dripping through the burrito. Steak was salty. Very little rice, beans, cheese. It was a salty, wet, wrap. Tasted poor. Not even close to a respectable burrito. I didn't have anything to do with packaging or delivery.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Piñata Tacos and ordered their chicken tacos, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The tacos themselves were absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor in every bite. But what truly made my visit memorable was the outstanding service provided by Haziel.
From the moment I walked in, Haziel made me feel genuinely welcomed. He carried himself with such warmth and professionalism, always smiling and ensuring that everything about my order was up to the highest standards. It’s rare to come across someone in hospitality who not only serves food but also makes you feel valued as a guest, and Haziel did exactly that. He checked in on me just the right amount of times, making sure my tacos were prepared perfectly and that I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal.
Because of Haziel’s exceptional service and his dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction, I can confidently say this will not be my last visit. Great food is one thing, but great service is what keeps people coming back—and Haziel truly embodies that. I would highly recommend Piñata Tacos, especially with Haziel around.

Friendly service. Delicious food. Awesome cocktails and cold beer. Fun ambiance. The kitchen gets things out hot and fast. What's not to love?
I'll concede that the price is high for a street-style taco meal, but hey, it's Toronto.
Whether I drop by for a quick meal with my toddler (who always gets lots of waves and smiles from the staff) or stop in with some friends to linger over beers and multiple rounds of tacos, Pinata always delivers. Every time I bring people here, they love it. There are a few places in my neighbourhood where I'm proud to be a regular; this is one of them.
