Pinkerton’s is basically what would happen if a cozy neighbourhood bar got adopted by a slightly chaotic wizard academy. I was served by Nolan, who I’m pretty sure is legally classified as a cocktail sorcerer. This guy doesn’t “make drinks,” he conducts them like an orchestra. I asked for something “fun but not irresponsible,” and he handed me a glass that tasted like confidence and poor decisions in the best way.
The vibe was elite. My Chemical Romance was playing like the building itself went through a tasteful emo phase and never apologized for it. I felt seen, healed, and mildly dramatic while eating kimchi fries and Szechuan green beans thay had no business being that good.
At one point I watched Nolan shake a cocktail so intensely I’m pretty sure it owed him money. The drink arrived perfectly balanced, like it had gone to therapy before meeting me.
10/10 experience. Would absolutely return to be emotionally supported by beverages and serenaded by “Gerrard” Way again. If this place ever stops existing, I will riot politely.

Such a great vibe here, the long bar that dominates the space is so inviting and the eclectic design elements create a real funky vibe. Awesome craft cocktails paired with a fun asian inspired menu of snacks and a decently large list of bao offer a substantial meal if you want or grab just a few for snacking. Groovy tunes + a very welcoming staff make for a fun night in the east end.
Visited with a group of friends. Staff is very friendly and is happy to offer recommendations when asked. Had a variety of shareables and baos along with some cocktails. All food and drink were delicious and wr are already planning and looking forward to coming back to try more drinks and food.

Service and food were awesome as usual. Holly and the team were as excited for new years as we were.
Freakin delicious cocktails with knowledgeable attentive mixologist. Tasty food. Ambience was great. We'll be there again soon! Absolutely worthy of repeat visits!

Great food
Love Pinkertons. Been a regular for years. Not sure I’ll be back anytime soon.
Food is still quality, but the service last night was beyond poor.
Waiting over 1hr on a slow Wednesday night for an incorrect food order is not good enough. We were not the only table disappointed with the service tonight.
I hope tonight was an anomaly.
Open to share the full details if anyone wants to reach out.

My favourite east side restaurant. Super chill, great food, awesome staff. Their beef tartare is arguably the best in the city.

Best bar on the east-end (ok, maybe shared with Goods and Provisions). Extensive selection of spirits. A+ bartenders. Very tasty and original food options.
