Love Pinkertons. Been a regular for years. Not sure I’ll be back anytime soon.

Food is still quality, but the service last night was beyond poor.

Waiting over 1hr on a slow Wednesday night for an incorrect food order is not good enough. We were not the only table disappointed with the service tonight.

I hope tonight was an anomaly.

Open to share the full details if anyone wants to reach out.

My favourite east side restaurant. Super chill, great food, awesome staff. Their beef tartare is arguably the best in the city.

Best bar on the east-end (ok, maybe shared with Goods and Provisions). Extensive selection of spirits. A+ bartenders. Very tasty and original food options.

Ended up at Pinkerton's after other plans fell through, and we could not have asked for a better night. The staff made us feel like we'd all been friends for a lifetime. The cocktails were fun and reasonably priced. The jackfruit Bao = perfection. Highly recommend Pinkerton's for anyone seeking unpretentious shenanigans!

To everyone needing a description on Pinkerton's, my simple answer is wow. We were greeted by Jonathan and were welcomed with open arms. He immediately greeted my friends & I with a great sales pitch on one of his beers that he had on special and we immediately started laughing while he got the whole bar involved in conversations with each other. I immediately had a big smile that I couldn't fight. What a great time!!!

First time ordering from here. The 6xbao were great! Enjoyed all the different flavors and was very pleasantly surprised by the jackfruit one. Kimchi fries were delicious as well.

Staff were also very nice and professional! Vibe was cosy and not too loud when I went to pick up food.

We didn't eat but had a lovely time at the Chef's table! I loved the vibes and the staff were so welcoming and lovely throughout the evening. They made great drink suggestions and we enjoyed ourselves so much! Will definitely be back!

An eclectic bar with wonderful small bites where the ahi tuna tostada is the star. The wonton wrappers are delightfully airy and crisp, which somehow support the generous portion of ahi tuna piled high and marinated with a well-balanced soy yuzu sauce that brings a burst of tangy umami. The avocado adds a wonderful creamy bite and is topped with nori flakes and chilli peppers. The Taiwanese baos were also popular, easy to pick up and bite with some nice flavours. The chicken is crisp and juicy and slathered in an umami-rich gochujang sauce that's balanced with the pickles. The pork adobo is braised low and slow to render out the fat so it melts in your mouth.

A very special spot - dropped by for some late night drinks and some food. All the cocktails are great. Only got to try some of the bao buns, but they were perfectly light and fluffy and delicious. Johnathan and the rest of the bar staff were fantastic.
