I had a chicken shawarma wrap, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my first visit a fantastic experience. They patiently guided me through the menu, which I really appreciated.

Plz note:
Google searched it as halal restaurant...but it's not halal...
Food was substituted as they didn’t have pierogi ready, food was cold, wait time was long - very disappointing!

So I was dropping off my friend at Lansdowne station and I happen to park in front of this restaurant. I looked up saw the sign, and then saw the name and laughed because it’s Pita and Pierogies. I know that Toronto is known for a fusion, but I had never seen a place like this yet.
I walked In and was greeted by a very friendly person. I asked what kind of pierogies come decide with the chicken schnitzel I was given a selection. I was very excited and I got the chicken schnitzel with Kapusta pierogies. I picked up my food that was made fresh to order which I was really happy about, Home and I got stuck on a phone call. Once I took a bite, I was so happy so satisfied and I’m really excited to come back and try other dishes. The shit was crunchy and the perfect texture for my preference, The pierogies were cooked perfectly great seasoning and the dough was just right.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back. Sorry for the long review, but it was really that good!

I really enjoyed eating here last week with my dad. We shared one order of pierogis and chicken on the sticks. Pierogis were good but the shawarma was our favourite. The chicken and sauce was great snd fries were amazing! The staff there on Wednesday evening was so kind and accommodating to our arrival just before closing. I will be back when I’m in the area!

If it were not a takeout, I’d definitely ask for a full refund. The food was awfully salty and dry. It didn’t match the description or the photo on the board. The staff was polite and friendly; however, the food was terrible and a waste of money. I am never coming back again.
Vegetarian options: Only 1-2 available options.

This place is new and on the right track to become good. Food is plentiful, well made and decently priced, albeit it can use some more flavour IMO. Service is friendly and timely, although there was only one person when we were there. We wish them success and will keep coming back and monitoring future improvements.
This place used to be 5 stars, but the new ownership has changed it to 1 star. Food from the original "pita" menu has been changed for the worse, and the food on the new "perogy" menu is lackluster.
After waiting for the new owners to take over (this process was confusing and caused us to show up to find a locked door when their hours claimed they were open), we finally got a chance to order takeout one using their website. Everything was bad - service and food. We arrived at the pickup time, and it took an extra 20 minutes while the employee seemed annoyed that we ordered "so much food" (it was 3 main dishes and 1 dessert).
The shawarma was so salty and the garlic sauce was flavourless. The pierogies were limp and boring, and the dessert blueberry ones seemed like used store-bought pie filling in a can. The schnitzel was decent, but not good enough to make up for the rest of the food.
We used to go here at least once a month before the change, but now we're never going back. So disappointing that this place is no longer an option in the neighbourhood.

I ordered the chicken pita, it was absolutely terrible. The chicken tasted off and we waiting awhile for our order because there was only one person working. I will never come back. What a waste of money.

Revising my 5 stars to 2 stars.New ownership must have made some changes. What was once a reliable lunch spot seems to have gone downhill. Payed 13 dollars for chicken shwarma with not very fresh ingredients and a piece of plastic in the shwarma. ?Two stars since the service was good, however.
