The date of my visit was Saturday February 7-2025 at approximately 7:00 pm. The restaurant was totally empty as it was a few weeks ago when I visited at approximately the same time. The chicken on the shawarma machine appeared to be dried out as there was hardly any left and in fact when I ate the chicken shawarma wrap, I confirmed that fact as some sections of the chicken, not all sections were crunchy, which confirmed that it was dried out. Thankfully the garlic and hummus in the wrap provided much needed moisture and taste. Once the chicken was cut off the device your staff member put the chicken on a flat-top steel grill, I assume warm the chicken up as it was probably cold. I trust that you are aware that warming up chicken that way draws out even more moisture. I have never seen that done anywhere before. To a customer those optics were terrible. I also asked for hummus but I was advised that there was no hummus left. I have never been to a shawarma restaurant where they had no hummus. After no hummus and taking into account the chicken shawarma that I observed I decided not to order anything else except the large chicken wrap as I was hungry. I have eaten at many Toronto restaurants serving shawarma and with all due respects your chicken shawarma was substandard compared to every other restaurant. Thankfully, there are many excellent shawarma restaurants not as convenient a location to me. Customers can find many shawarma restaurants on Lawrence Ave, East of Pharmacy Ave. where the food is always good. I was hoping that Pita Land would be a viable alternative but unfortunately that is not the case.

We went for Shawarma on a cold winter day. The service was warm and welcoming and the food warmed our soul as well. He made sure everyone had the best ingredients customized for them. We look forward to going back! Highly recommended location with easy free parking and other great stores easily accessible in the area.
