This is a one star review for the reservation sites as well. I made a reservation today for 430pm and the restaurant was closed when we arrived. Beware of management that doesn't turn off online reservations when their place isn't open. No communication either from the establishment or the reservation site (made through Google Maps app) to let us know. Maybe we'll try again... Maybe we won't.

I’d like to add my perspective on our visit, as my friends and I were sitting right in front of Marianne's table (the review below). We were the ones who received the wrong guacamole and chips, which was just the start of a disappointing experience.
The guy server seemed completely lost and lacked basic customer service skills. After we sat down, we waited for about 30 minutes without being acknowledged, while the only other waitress was clearly overwhelmed with orders and making drinks. He did not tell us until after 30 minutes the other waitress will take our order. It was puzzling to see so many tables without food, and it felt like the guy server was just standing around instead of assisting her during the dinner rush.
After waiting for 1.5 hours, our tacos finally arrived—cold and clearly having sat out for a while. When we asked for hot sauce, it seemed to catch him off guard, as if it hadn’t occurred to him that it should be served with the food.
Overall, it was evident that the staff was not equipped to handle the volume of customers. With the service and the food quality we experienced, we’ve decided we won’t be returning. It's unfortunate, as we had hoped for a much better dining experience.

I usually never leave reviews but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Service was slow, that being said there was only 1 girl working as both a server and bartender, however when my friends and I came in it was very quiet and service was still slow. It didn’t pick up until the time we were leaving at which point we felt kind of bad because the girl was really sweet. My friend and I each got 2 tacos and chips and guac to split. We got the tacos 30-40 minutes later (there were like 3 other tables at this time) before the guac and they were bland. We had to go up to the bar and ask where our appetizer was and the server was surprised we still hadn’t gotten it. We think the guy who was running the food brought it to the wrong table because when they made it again he accidentally dropped it at the table next to us before realizing it was the wrong table again. The guac was also bland, it was literally just mashed up avocado there was no tomato, onion or jalepeno in it. The chips also weren’t fully cooked since some of them were chewy and doughy. Drinks were okay. My friend and I both had stomach aches after we left and I threw up after only getting 2 tacos, a few chips and 2 cocktails.
So much potential - very cute once you find the right doors to get up to the restaurant. Service was good but some confusion bc of language differences - ordered guacamole and ceviche which also had guacamole which would have been nice to know and clarity of how many tacos in one order and mix and matching etc Apps were good but needed extra limes. Tacos were a bit disappointing - too much batter on the Baja and steak was decent

Sat down and was ignored for at least 15 mins before we left. Waiters just walked by even though we tried to get their attention. Saw them go to other tables multiple times, while not even getting us water.

Pretty good. A bit hard to find, and atmosphere was a bit underwhelming but overall good food and a good dinner.

What a disaster. I booked a table through their designated online platform for my wife's birthday with a couple of close friends. Booking confirmed 48 hours ahead. We show up and the place is padlocked.
The legacy location on Dupont is great, but this Yonge-Eglinton thing seems to be an utter fiasco. Don't even think about going here - if it even exists anymore? They don't answer the phone or even have a viable outgoing message.

Ordered delivery. They rob you in pricing and the way they package everything is terrible. All the tacos come wet and falling apart. $150 wasted.

This place recently re-opened and I decided to get some takeout. I got the Beef Barbacoa which comes with Guacamole 3 Corn Tortillas, Seasoned Rice, Beans, Pico and a variety of hot sauces. The portion size was great for the price and the food was delicious. I’m looking forward to going back and trying other menu items.
