“Truly delicious sushi and sashimi (3-4 person platter) with great variety, served cooler than room temperature with rich flavour.
Service was self serve, for better or for worse. Less attention, no tips. Seat yourself like a common cafe. Not a lot of seats. They had a water dispenser with lemon/cucumber in it.
The place has nice decor, though looks a bit run down based on since the table was kind of sticky (even after cleaning) and had some parts worn away.“

“I am celiac, which means I need to eat gluten free and avoid cross contamination. This restaurant (while not 100% gluten-free) definitely takes allergies seriously, with a separate fryer and cooking area for celiac requests. I love this sushi!! They make such unique rolls with fun flavours/textures. For two people, I would recommend getting a large platter (pictured below) which will allow you to try multiple rolls for only about $30 per person. Would definitely recommend this place, but be sure to call ahead for a reservation as it tends to get quite busy and they do not have a huge seating area.“

“Would definitely go again, ingredients were fresh and well portioned between all the toppings. The size was perfect for lunch and at a great value. There weren’t any “filler” toppings, and the flavors was great. ( I asked for a recommendation and got the “it’s lit” bowl. Just spicy enough for me!) Staff was friendly and efficient. Quite happy with my first visit and looking forward to trying all types of combinations in the future.“

“Met friends at Lulu Bar on Wellington Street for recently and very much enjoyed the vibes, good cocktails and light bites to eat during their afternoon (3-6pm) happy hour period. Opening hours are 11.30am to late each evening. Drinks were all just fine. We were very happy with the food servings which were presentable and honestly all very good. Edamame, broccolini, kale salad, pork belly and burger were all good. Service friendly and timely, prices quite good during the happy hour period. Found Lulu to be a fun place to meet up with friends during happy hour. This is a good venue, one we'd be happy to revisit during future trips to Toronto.“

“I was just happend to stop by and had 2 Salmon&Avocado rolls and it was a really good choice! I didn't know that they serve with brown rice which I'd love it! Very fresh and generous portion of their resonable price!

AMAZINGGG!! They finally changed the brown loose sealed bowls back to the white sealed ones, thank god 😫🙏. Especially because last time I ordered and got the brown bowl, just one slight turbulence and the lid slid off with some food falling inside the bag. Now I can order takeout and commute home with no worries 🫶
Food and service is amazing as ever, definitely recommend this spot! Although it would be even more amazing if they could add handles to their bags in the future too 😙.
I also def recommend ordering in advance on their app as they’re usually pretty busy.

So so good! Honestly my go to spot for lunch on campus whenever I don’t know what to eat. Never disappoints.
Only reason why I gave two stars off is because I don’t really like the brown takeout cardboard bowls they always use right now because the lid never closes tightly which causes it to leak. So no you can’t put these in your bag after if you don’t have time to finish it. AND their paper bags are not handled too which makes it pretty inconvenient to hold.
Other than these minor stuff, definitely a staple place!“
