Generous portions and nice staff. Mauna Loa is on the spicier side but I would go for the PG and Cali. Check out their daily specials if it peaks your interest.

I dined in and ordered the MAUNA LOA bowl which contained spicy shoyu salmon. The deal of the day was a free upgrade in size from Regular to Large. The ingredients were fresh, but the salmon had a bit too much sauce. The service wasn't bad per se; the counter staff weren't rude, but it was evident they didn't want to be there. Overall, I would come back but probably grab my meal to go.

A place that provide reasonably good food to stuff you up. Particularly if you need a quick bite.

I've been going to Poke Guys almost since they opened up. I like the food - it taste good. The service is respectable - the staff do a great job. My concern though is the price increases. While it has always been a little expense they increased their prices about six months ago and it is just too much now. A large bowl costing $22 + tax and tip.
Like, tipping for a place where you don't get to sit to place your order you just stand. Uuuuh I don't know if I can get behind that.

Amazing food and staff. Not the most interesting place to eat in but works for me as I don’t live in the area but I’m there for work often so I like to talk to the staff.

very good portion size and fast service
I tried Cali with white rice but it didn't get cooked all the way through. Salmon and veggies were great but the rice was gooey and TERRIBLE. I won’t come back here.

My favourite place to grab poke. Worth the price, as the the portions are big. Excellent flavours!
Delicious blend of flavor in their premade flavors. Their sashimi fish are marinated well and still have some crunch of freshness to it. Broad sauce options to choose from.
The portion is just a lot for what you're paying (considering you're getting sashimi grade food). You can just say yes to every topping and they'll put all of them in your bowl for you. I am always shocked by how much you get per bowl.
- Fire Fin with Tuna, mango, kimchi - Small
- Cali Bowl with Tuna, salmon, avocado - Large

Liked the food, not the place.
I used to go here all the time but they recently increased their price from what was already expensive to what is now too expensive. It’s now over $25 with tax for a large bowl.. I walked in today, noticed the price increase and walked right out. Unfortunately it’s just now too expensive for lunch. Too bad, I really liked this restaurant but I can’t justify the new price. Really good food though- I’ll give them that.

My boyfriend and I, avid poke enthusiasts, recently decided to embark on a culinary journey at Poke Guys, eager to sample their offerings and see how they stacked up against our favourites.
Opting for the Mauna bowl, I assembled a masterpiece of spicy delights; spicy salmon, spicy seaweed salad, and a generous drizzle of fiery sauce. However, it seems I may have gone overboard with my spice obsession, as the heat quickly overpowered my taste buds. Despite the fiery onslaught, the bowl still managed to impress with its delicious combination of ingredients.
Meanwhile, my boyfriend opted for the PG Classic Shoyu Salmon, a choice that proved to be a winner in terms of balanced flavour. The harmony of ingredients in his bowl showcased Poke Guys' prowess in crafting dishes that please the palate without overwhelming it.
One thing worth noting is Poke Guys' interpretation of spice. Like many other poke places, their definition of "spicy" might not align with those who crave a serious kick of heat. Lesson learned for next time: tread lightly with the spice, as their version packs a punch!
Overall, Poke Guys left us with mixed feelings. While my boyfriend's bowl was a hit and mine suffered from a bit of spice overload, the overall quality and flavours were commendable. It's a solid 3 out of 5 stars from us, and we'll definitely be back, armed with the knowledge to navigate the spice levels more wisely next time!
