Food was ok. They seemed to rush you while eating. They cannot split the bill even if you told them in advance. The waitress doesn't even care to calculate.

Best Iranian restaurant in town. The stews are delicious. It feels like having a home cooked meal. The owner and the waitresses were super friendly and welcoming. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The food was good but the service fell far short of expectation. If you go there in a busy day, it is very likely that they ask you to leave before you have a chance to finish your food and dessert!!! They didn't tell me that the table was reserved in advance, disappointing experience.

Great service and food. All their meats are halal and they provided dates for Iftar. I highly recommend the eggplant appetiser; it's delicious! Unfortunately I don't remember the name, but it's the one with walnuts.

I’ve been coming here for almost 20 years. It’s changed quite a bit since the pandemic but it’s still a great casual setting and great food!

Had a dinner date at Pomegranate last Friday and was absolutely blown away. We kicked things off with the Mirza Qasemi & Barbary Flatbread, a smoky eggplant appetizer that was sheer delight and perfectly set the tone for the main course. My entrée, the Shirin Polo with Braised Lamb Shank, was a flavor explosion - aromatic saffron rice mingled with nuts, barberries, and slivered orange peel, paired with a tender lamb shank. The orange peel added a delightful zestiness that made the rice even more delicious.Already eager for my next visit and would highly recommend Pomegranate to anyone looking for an exceptional Persian dining experience in Toronto.
