Potato Noodles Soup of Bai 白家老汤

This place has the atmosphere of the average Chinese restaurant in Toronto. Nonetheless, I love the potato noodles; they're incredibly chewy and soft, and the meat pairs so well with the broth. I have come here at least 5 times, and I am definitely going to come back in the colder months for a cozy meal. I also enjoy their shredded potato salad, it is nice and cold, with a nice spice coming from the chilli oil.

I ordered an lamp hot soup and the soup taste like very fishy and oily. Seems like not freshly made. Also, their washroom is small and I got my head hitting at the corner when i use it. I really hope it close soon…

Not sure why the rating is low - the broths are tasty and the toppings are generous. I usually get the pork ribs potato noodle soup and add extra bok choy. With the tender ribs, black fungus, bean curd, and chewy potato noodles, it’s a well balanced, affordable meal. Quick and convenient take out spot.

Excellent ambiance and top service displayed with sincere care. The interior is authentic Chinese setting with lamps , music and decor. Through from the outside it doesn't look very inviting it's super cozy inside. Definitely coming back for the food and service.

I don't know why this noodle spot has such a low rating. I've been coming here quite consistently ever since I moved to the neighborhood 4 years ago and it's always been delicious! I usually get the multi-grain noodles with fish soup and pig intestines and I add beef. The broth is very flavourful, the toppings are really generous and the noodles are cooked well and are interspersed with shredded kelp which helps create textural contrast. If you're ever in the neighborhood I definitely suggest you give this place a try!

The waiters are really good. They won't let you use the restroom if you don't eat. I hope all of you don't have any urgent needs outside.

Roujiamo, mutton soup, sesame sauce shredded chicken cold noodles are all delicious! It would be better if the sesame sauce chicken shredded cold noodles were spicier to cover up the sweetness.

Honestly not sure why the bad reviews. I come here for delicious and unique noodle options that are hard to come by in other places. My favourite is their classic potato noodles which are fun, slippery, chewy. Their lamb with pita noodle soup is also good - the pita is not really pita but little dough cubes that are fun to chew on amid the slurpable glass noodles. So good!

Honestly, I didn't make it to the food. I sat down, ordered, went to go wash my hands in the bathroom and saw a cockroach 🪳.
I immediately left and didn't eat here.
