Overall, it's pretentious. Staff think they're super cool and give great service, but I walked around listening to him banter with another staff person for 10 mins before he even started to make my drink. And really, if I had wanted greasy breakfast sandwich with processed cheese, I would have gone to Macdonalds.

A shop that combines a miscellaneous goods shop and a coffee shop.
The black coffee had a strong acidity, which wasn't to my liking, but it was good enough.
However, the desks in the store are so rickety that coffee spills just by moving them a little, and the seats are so narrow that it seems difficult to relax.
Also, although it seems like the concept is to be environmentally friendly with reusable tableware, the accumulation of coffee stains was noticeable.

Good place but the coffee quality is average. Also, my coffee mug had the smell of raw eggs in it. I would visit again but ofc order coffee in a paper cup

I ordered a spiced hazelnut chai latte, but the first part was so spicy that it overpowered the other words. The foam was topped with chili powder? For a $10 tea latte (incl. tax + tip), I was doubly disappointed because it also didn't taste like hazelnut.

This is my second visit to Poured and while there's so much to love about the place and staff, I'll probably stick to the drip coffee or simple espresso drinks that they do so well.

Love the environment and the concept. Good coffee, pastries and everything in between.

Was coming to poured coffee for a couple years about once every 2-3 weeks. The drinks quality was gradually decreasing and today I’ve had probably the worst matcha latte ever.

Pity because the pastries were always tasty but I don’t feel like I’m going to come anytime soon anymore. Started as a cool business concept with good drinks but now the compromises on quality with very high prices don’t really help.

Really nice place. I love the concept and interior design. Everything looks delicious. The only thing is the lady who attended me, she was polite but not as kind as she were with other clients. I could feel the difference.

Love the concept of no waste, but it does make it very difficult to grab a coffee to go while running errands if you don’t have a reusable mug with you.

The dishwasher was not working when I last visited, so paper cups were available for 50cents per cup—quite the upcharge for what is already an expensive cup of coffee. They pride themselves on not having a garbage bin, but surely enough hand you items that need disposing (tissue paper, paper cups).

However, what really left a bad taste is the fact that the owner happily charged the paper cup fee and only after payment informed me they ran out of lids. I was on my way out of the city when I stopped for a coffee, and had to handle a croissant served on tissue paper and a paper cup with no lid in the car. What is the difference between a sheet of tissue paper versus a regular paper pastry bag? Pastry flakes and coffee everywhere!

We were here the other day and the barista warned us before ordering they were closing in 30 mins., which was fine as we only wanted to sit and enjoy our coffee till 5:00 anyway. Unfortunately for us, and maybe other customers as well, they started cleaning up quite 'aggressively' 15 mins. before closing. We felt they were trying to push us out. It was rather uncomfortable for us despite the coffee being good. However, no matter how good the coffee is, you still need to enjoy it. We go to independent cafes all over the city, so we were quite surprised by this level of service.

Popped in for a coffee and breakfast before an appointment and the Apple pie latte was delicious, the breakfast sandwich was to die for, and had hard working, funny, and overall great staff! Has become my go to spot whenever I’m down in the Danforth!

A nice neighbor coffee shop that also has a nice little environmentally friendly concept to it - selling handmade items and organic items like deodorant, shops, shampoos, etc. They are located on the Danforth. I got an iced latte with an alternative milk. I saw that they sold The Social Blend coffee beans, which is a local beanery.

I enjoying coming to poured coffee. The staff are awesome! I love their environmental concept of not using reusable cups and utensils. Most people bring their own mugs and utensils. Unfortunately, their dishwasher broke for the past month and they have been using paper cups, which is completely contrary to their concept. I appreciate as a small business owner the expense of repairing and/or fixing a dishwasher. However, the continuous use of paper cups leads me to believe the owners are not serious about the environment and their cafe is only a gimmick. If this continues, I might as well bring my business across the street to Tom Hortons or Coffee time. While I don’t like big franchises at least they are authentic and not pretending to save the environment. Please rectify the situation or at the very least encourage people through social media to bring in their own mugs while you address the issue.
