I have wanted to try Indigenous food for a long time and Pow Wow Cafe had been bookmarked on Yelp for awhile. I was so sad to hear that it was closing, but am also glad that I DID hear, so I could make sure to try it before they closed.I took a day off work so I could come. The guys at Pow Wow cafe catered a 200+ dinner for us and it was amazing. They didn’t miss a step in delivery. The buffalo meatloaf for the main and Blueberry crumble for dessert were a hit. Go check them out before they close.
Stood in line for more than half an hour, even though the opening time had passed. Got lucky and were the last ones to sit. Got the "tacos" which are actually fried dough with chili on top. Decent coffee and local teas. A bit expensive, but quantity is decent.
