**Title: Prêt À Manger's Disappointing Partnership with A&W: A Culinary Misstep**In a baffling move that has left patrons scratching their heads, London's esteemed Sandwicherie Prêt À Manger has chosen an unlikely bedfellow for its Canadian debut: the A&W Burger Chain. The decision to cozy up with a fast-food giant known for its rushed and stressed-out service, lackluster atmosphere, and questionable coffee choices has left many wondering about the rationale behind this culinary partnership.Upon entering the Fast Food A&W, one is greeted with the sight of Prêt's offerings relegated to a side shelf, a mere shadow of the diverse and delectable selection found in the UK outlets. However, the disappointment doesn't end there. The items displayed appear to have been prepared and hermetically sealed in some distant warehouse the night before, seemingly oblivious to the importance of freshness in the culinary world.Attempting to salvage some semblance of flavor, I reluctantly opted for the Posh Cheddar & Chutney Baguette. After subjecting it to a 10-second, 1200W microwave treatment in the hope of breathing life back into the frozen concoction, a faint echo of the Chutney and Cheddar's spicy-savory allure emerged. Alas, the baguette remained obstinately rubbery and chewy, having long bid adieu to any semblance of its once-crunchy identity, all in the pursuit of an industrial-grade shelf life.As I reflect on this culinary misadventure, I can't help but express a fervent wish for Prêt À Manger's CEO, Pano Christou, to reconsider the brand's reputation. The decision to dilute the brand's quality and atmosphere through such a low-brow partnership seems like a perilous gamble, one that risks tarnishing the cherished image Prêt À Manger has cultivated over the years. Perhaps a swift return to the authenticity and excellence that defines the true Prêt À Manger experience is in order, leaving this ill-fated partnership as nothing more than a regrettable footnote in the brand's history.

The young lady ( I believe she was Indian from her accent ) at the front she made me and my kids very uncomfortable by the way she was giving us the looks. She was taking our order as of she was doing it forcibly or giving us the food for free. Very rude and unpleasant behaviour for a downtown location , I really thing it is the management fault not to train her properly .The only reason I gave 3 stars because we love A&W burgers and the Asian gentleman who handed to food to us he was very very nice and professional ( I think he should be at the front ) .P.S: My kids asked me to go to Pop Eyes next door but I said no lets go to A&W, and the thing is I always check the reviews before eating anywhere but It was raining and we were getting late to the movie , well, i guess this would be my last visit to this location .For the management to find out : I was there yesterday Sunday No 26th around 5:50PM I was going to the movies with my two kids ( I was wearing burgundy jacket and a gray hat ) and my order was for 5 burgers and 1 Poutin .

They don’t sell the espresso drinks even though it’s on the menu lol. So it’s just A&W coffee at a Pret a Manger.

The first sandwich I picked up was actually expired. I asked the employee and he said the “expiry date is wrong”.I chose another one that wasn’t expired, but it tasted like it was old and stale. Seems like they repackage old food.Staff was also rude and condescending. Was given a latte when I ordered a black coffee

First Pret-A-Manger in Canada! Came here periodically for their pre-made sandwiches whenever I missed my time in the UK. Hope they keep adding more stores in GTA and Vancouver.

The usual boring and sorta dry food. Never liked Pret much and only ever got it (in the UK) when I was desperate. Same thing since 2004 (first try). It really only belongs in cities with extremely limited fast food options , which Toronto is not. There are numerous options I’d pick over a 10$ pret sandwich, but it’s not *bad*.

The food is mediocre and overpriced.I came here to see Pret a Manger, which is so many in London, UK,I feel a bit dissapointed as it is inside a&w, instead of having their own store. You wont find various selections compare to their store in London. They even dont have their own coffee stall, so If you want coffee means that its from A&W coffee.

I'd never heard of Pret until a friend made a big deal of them posting a photo having a Pret in another city - after I'd eaten one at this location. It is not the same. You're getting A&W service, atmosphere and coffee. The sandwiches are OK.(But O&B canteen take-out across the street is better quality, service and greater value IMO).The coffee is A&W in a Pret cup.I'm not sure this was the correct partnership pairing to introduce Pret to Toronto if they want it to succeed.
