We visited Project Gigglewater for a date night and ordered an Oaxacan tamal and crispy fries. While the fries were tasty, they took quite a while to arrive. The 1-hour time limit also made us feel rushed. Unfortunately, the Oaxacan tamal didn’t stand out in terms of flavour. That said, we’d recommend the place primarily for its atmosphere - the dim lighting, colourful Christmas lights, and festive decorations made for a cozy and memorable holiday date.
Was still a bit snacky when I got here and tried their smash burger, which was actually pretty good. I also had their crispy fries which I understand has a 'special salt'. It did have a bit of a weird bitter aftertaste which I can't say was pleasant.
They have a lot of interesting cocktails on their menu, and can only really try so many in one visit. I'd recommend this place even just to explore their variety of different drinks. I did try...
