It is always wonderful dining at Pukka. I have been going there since they first opened 11 years ago. My grand daughter was only a week old. They treat us like family and nothing is too much to ask for. Wish I could go more often. Thank you Pukka ❤️

Even before we stepped into Pukka, we knew we were in for a treat. Toronto traffic meant we were running almost half hour late for our reservations. We called, holding our breath, the staff wished us safe travels and said they will accommodate our new arrival. That was refreshing and set the tone for an amazing evening. Our evening was truly memorable, thanks to an exceptional dining experience that hit all the right notes. The staff were absolutely amazing, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and warmth. They were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable about the menu, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. And then there's the food – simply incredible! Each dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. We particularly loved the Punjabi Chicken which was bursting with authentic spices. The freshly baked naan with butter and pumpkin curry ware equally impressive, showcasing the chef's creativity and expertise. It's clear that only the freshest ingredients are used, resulting in a culinary journey that delighted our taste buds with every bite. For anyone seeking a delightful Indian dining experience, look no further than Pukka. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!

In my opinion Pukka serves the best Indian food in the city. Quality ingredients - exciting menu!

I always enjoy eating at Pukka - it's local to us, but we go because they have a unique twist on Indian dishes, and it's very tasty. Service is always excellent. Great for taking people from out of town, too!

Amazing food and service as usual. Ordered butter chicken but asked for it to have a bit of kick. It was perfect. I like that the menu now has revised boozeless drinks. Perfect items for summer.

As always, the food was just wonderful, every dish very distinct and special. Likewise, the service is always very good there, but on Friday it was especially good. By far my favourite place for Indian food in Toronto, and it's a nice neighbourhood to go for a post-dinner stroll.

Another excellent dinner at Pukka! Great cocktails, fabulous food and wonderful service. A favourite of ours!

The food needed to be more authentic in regards to the spice and flavors. If they were not aiming for authentic Indian cuisine, then I did not see any alterations that made it different. If they were going for authentic, then the food fell short.

I've been coming to Pukka for years now but last night brought a friend . He was extremely impressed and he is tough to please. He also commented on how intimate our table felt and how delicious the Punjabi curry tasted. He was also very impressed with the fresh Naan bread. Great job as always.

Consistency, outstanding execution, and attentive service - few restaurants get all three right, but Pukka does it every time! That's why 2025 marks my 11th year as a loyal patron of this innovative establishment, and over the years, I've happily introduced many other diners to Pukka as well. One quintessential sign of a well-managed restaurant is the consistent presence of an owner. Without fail, on every visit, either Derek or Harsh is there to personally welcome guests the moment they walk through the door. We always start with their star appetizers: Okra Fries ($16) - never slimy and definitely worth trying if you've been hesitant before; Eggplant Tartare ($14) served with crispy Roti; and Pukka Chaat ($19), which is far from your usual “been there, done that” version. Their Hakka Tofu ($25) dispels any notion that vegetarians need to compromise. In fact, I encouraged our family's matriarch-who usually turns her nose up at plant-based proteins-to try it. Her surprised reaction? “It's good.” The Garam Masala Duck ($36) was perfectly cooked, resting atop a vibrant orange and wild blueberry curry. The Boatman Fish & Prawns ($42) earned a silent, satisfied sigh of approval from our table. The Butter Chicken ($28), a ubiquitous dish often missed on the sauce by even traditional establishments, was spot-on here-though the diner who ordered it mentioned the chicken itself was a bit dry. Pukka's take on Mango Lassi is sublime-thick and creamy, akin to a proper milkshake, with a subtle infusion of sweet spices that elevates the experience. To finish, one order of their Sticky Toffee Pudding ($12), shared among four spoons, struck the perfect balance of sweet and rich.

We love Pukka! It is our favourite restaurant in Toronto! The service is more like warm hospitality! The food is delicious and vibrant with flavour!! Everything we have tried on the menu we have enjoyed! The decor is lovely! We celebrated a graduation milestone and we were surprised by complimentary Prosecco to toast the occasion! Eating at Pukka feels like eating at our home away from home! Thank you!
