Enjoyed another exceptional meal at Pukka! Dined with my daughters to celebrate a new job. Proximity between tables allowed for conversations at a normal volume. Attentive and friendly staff from the moment we walked in. Excellent table service. Enjoyed chicken tikka, sweet potato samosas, vegetable curry, pumpkin curry, dal, garlic naan and our absolute favourite — hakka tofu. A restaurant for young and young at heart who value great food, lovely ambience and exceptional service.

We are very fond of Pukka because the food and service have always been very good. Last evening was a bit disappointing, mostly due to the lack of flavour in the food. It seemed like the dishes were all cooked and presented well, but the spices weren't freshly prepared - they lacked flavour and produced a very flat and bland taste - leaving us feeling stuffed because the food is cooked in butter (ghee) but without feeling like we'd partaken in an exquisitely and carefully prepared meal.

We were there for the fabulous New Year's Eve tasting menu, which was sensational. The flavours were so subtle and delicious. And the bar made me a fantastic cocktail that wasn't on the menu and was absolutely superb could not have asked for a better experience. Everything about it was wonderful.

Pukka is a fantastic spot! I recently had dinner at Pukka again, and as always, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, setting a warm and inviting tone for the evening.
The cuisine, modern Indian, is simply exceptional. Everything we ordered tasted fresh, vibrant, and perfectly spiced. The menu features both classic dishes and some creative, must-try items. If you go, I highly recommend trying their Black Cardamom Chicken; it was tender, complex, and full of incredible flavour.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is sophisticated yet comfortable, making it perfect for a date night or a special occasion.
Pukka manages to elevate traditional Indian flavours into a genuinely memorable, high-end dining experience. I highly recommend it!

Been eating here for years, and will continue for years to come. Can’t get enough of the Punjabi chicken, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu… from the boatman’s fish to the various naans, everything is delicious.
If you want to experience real amazing canadian service in an India restaurant, then this is one of the unique restaurants I have found. Their chaat was tasty and seemed healthy. Less oily food, great ambience if you sit near window. Overall was a good change from so called authentic Indian restaurants. It's bit on the expensive side though.

I really wanted to like this place because I’ve been wanting to try Indian food in my neighbourhood. This was my second visit, and unfortunately I was quite disappointed.
I ordered the pumpkin curry, lentil curry, and a small roti. The lentil curry had a burnt smell and was very thick, almost like it had been sitting for a long time.
When I got the bill, I was shocked — it was almost $100. For the portion size and quality, the prices felt way too high.
Service was okay, but overall the food was not worth the price.
