I asked for an egg sandwich, the person behind the counter acted like they never heard of one before. They offered me an egg salad sandwich. I said fine. While I'm paying I notice the egg sandwich is Wednesdays sandwich of the day. $6. Instead I paid $11.24 for a single white bread egg salad sandwich........ it wasn't even a good sandwich... terrible service, terrible prices and mediocre quality.

Workers were worse than my cafeteria lunch ladies. VERY poor customer service skills and that says a lot considering there was only 2 employees but 5 workers there at a time. The taste of the food in my mouth would’ve been better had I not had a horrible experience with the workers with no mannerism.

My boss and I came here for lunch on Friday. We arrived just before closing. Their team was kind enough to make the wraps we were hoping to order. The atmosphere was nice - it was modern and clean. Great place to check out if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat like a wrap or sandwich.

Fabulous fast salads and sandwiches to go - it’s no frills per se, but the service is good and it reminds me of places you’d grab a sandwich for a working person’s lunch in the UK - but the 21st century upgrade is sandwiches and salads.

The place is good. Have tried it a couple of times but the falafel wrap is a big disappointment. Its dry to the core and make you regret even more with every bite you take. What's worse - its hazardous to eat with a toothpick inside it. I had almost cut my mouth.
Cold salad bowls (no falafel) is what i would recommend for vegetarians.

Food is okay but the staff are super rude. I went there several times & had terrible experience every time. Will avoid like a plague going forward.

Every time I come here it seems like the black woman doesn't want to serve, they are never friendly, they serve by force and those who serve very slowly need to improve themselves.
Love this Pumpernickle’s location! The service is consistently friendly, polite and patient.Absolutely love the salad bowls, because you can try different salads for new combinations and variety every time.I also find the location to be very convenient.Parking is limited in this area but very easy to get to from the TTC street cars and walking. This location is accessible for persons with a disability and has plenty of seating.

Salads didn’t have much dressing, and the coleslaw was very very bland. I’ve had much better quality food at other pumpernickel locations. Disappointing.

Forgot to take a picture before starting to eat. I did a "super combo" and was happy that I could customize my filling into wrap or sandwich (I got a tuna wrap). The wrap was grilled and a bit hard on the outside - would maybe try not grilled next time, or on bread. Portion is a healthy portion - healthy wrap size, with good portions of the side salads. I got tabouleh and couscous. Love the couscous. Tabouleh was good too but my biggest irk is that apparently some salads are "extra" cost on top of the combo cost, and the serving person says it *as they are putting it on your plate* instead of asking "this is an extra $1 / $2. Is that okay?" I overheard that the guy in front of me got pasta salad which was an extra $1 and my tabouleh was an extra $2. If there wasn't a line behind me and/or if I'd been asked not simply told, I would have got something else as that extra $2 brings down the overall value for cost. There aren't many options in this area for a grab and go lunch but would ask the serving staff clearly before I pick my sides which ones cost extra.
