Qin’s Garden is a fantastic find! The decor is charming—clean and fresh while still feeling warm and welcoming. It has a casual vibe, and the service is super prompt, which makes for an easy and enjoyable dining experience.

I was drawn here after seeing it all over Instagram, especially for the soup dumplings. While they were definitely the largest I’ve had in Toronto, they weren’t the best in terms of flavor. That said, the rest of the meal was excellent. The non-soup dumplings, noodle dishes, and rice dishes were all standouts—well-balanced in both flavors and textures, with generous portions and bold flavors. The extensive menu means there’s plenty more to explore, and I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes.

If you’re coming for the soup dumplings, they’re worth a try if you prioritize size over taste, but otherwise, skip them and dive into the rest of the menu.

Came here due to a social media video. I love to try new restaurants and decided to try this one out with my fiance. Interior is cute, but do not be fooled. I got food poisoning here. The food came out, and it looked alright. Everything was sweet. Everything lacked flavour. The sauces at the table tasted like they had been out there for months, especially the oil. It tasted very old. The water was lukewarm, and the cups that we poured them into, was sticky, and it made the water taste off. Its like they were not cleaned. All the dumplings we ordered had the same filling, except for the “topping” which you couldn’t even really taste the difference. The shrimp dumplings tasted and smelled off but we ate it anyway. After an hour of eating here, we started to feel stomach pains. It lasted all night, till the next morning. It was unpleasant. Came here after not having eaten out for so long, only to be stuck in the toilet for hours. Service was meh. They don’t care, they yell from the kitchen - across the store, they just slide the plates infront of you, they eat as they serve. I shouldn’t have tipped. For 100 dollars, you are better off spending your money elsewhere. I would not recommend this place at all! Not coming back.

Their food is very good, so much variety and done really well! Quick reliable service.

The only thing to note is that unfortunately there’s always a strange septic kind of smell in there if you are sensitive to that.

Service was quick, and food was pretty good. Shrimp fried had some nice large shrimp, and dumplings were good. Although, the poached chicken was not favoured by the table.

Amazing restaurant. Went there for dinner, and the soup dumplings were delicious, same with the pan fried dumplings, and had one of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. Food wise, it was extremely good. The restaurant atmosphere did not disappoint as well, it was beautiful, and the environment was great. The server was nice and friendly. Overall would highly recommend the restaurant, 10/10!

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegan options available.

Dietary restrictions: The restaurant accommodates to any dietary restrictions, and usually the server asks before you would order.

Parking: As it’s in the middle of downtown Toronto, finding parking is pretty hard.

The beef soup dumplings were really good! I’d come back for just those. The food was also hot. However, the crab rice and the wontons were not very good - they were not very flavourful which was disappointing.

Soup dumplings were wonderful, you can taste the freshness. Their dumplings are hand made in the back kitchen.
