Quality of the food (unremarkable salad, dry unseasoned branzino) does not justify pricing. Really bad sound-proofing: super noisy inside. Slooowwwww service. Pass.

I will say first, their food is good. No problem there. But, as a neighbour, they have major pest issues that absolutely should not continue to go unchecked. Last week, I saw a huge cockroach right at their front door, and it wasn’t the first I’ve seen. Their cockroach infestation has gotten so out of control, it’s impacting all of the apartments in its vicinity. The fact is, cockroaches happen, but they have a responsibility to do their due diligence and have pest control address the issues at least a few times a year, and especially in the spring. This is a huge health issue and people who spend a lot of money there and the neighbours deserve better. Do better, QB.

I wanted to love it. We had a party of 9. Had to flag the waiter down at all times. Three meals were sent back. The only way to describe it, salt took over all dishes. All. I don't mean a little salty. I mean people were trying to water down the shock of the Salt. I don't know what happened in the kitchen. I won't go back.

The reason is that I eat at Quanto Basta 3-4 times a year because at Quanto Basta, they maintain the consistency in quality of Food, Service, and Atmosphere.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever been to. Delicious and love the portion size. Fresh ingredients and a great selection of menu. Kids loved it there too.

The food is good, creative and fresh. The restaurant itself is small and very loud when busy, but worth a visit.

Excellent service and food in what was a full capacity holiday lunch crowd; impressive. The place did get a bit noisy but not undully based on the number of patrons and the holiday spirit mood. A definite return-to restaurant.

Horrible service. In this economy, do not waste your hard earned money. It was pretty empty and yet I had to wait a long time to be seated. When I was finally seated, I was never offered water but the other table was. Had to go up to ask for water and again to ask to put in my order. I would have ordered more, but decided not to bother wasting any more of my time or money.Horrible service. Do not waste your money here. In this economy, it is better to go somewhere where they actually value you as a customer and your dollar.

I'll start by saying the food is good. The experience not so great. From the second we were seated we were rushed. When two hours were up we were told we had to leave. Asked for coffee but machine was apparently broken. We had no idea there was a 2 hour limit. It was our annual holiday dinner so we were very disappointed. We won't return. It's a shame because the food is good and it's a nice place.

Very posh, very loud and service was appalling. We had a reservation and sat down. Waited half an hour to get wine and more tan another half hour for food. Never was asked whether I wanted another coffee, forgot my friend’s drink. I had asked when I made the reservation for a vegan meal which they said ok. So When we asked the waiter what was vegan on the menu we were embarrassed because the waiter was vague and seemed put off by the question. When we finished eating the waiter asked if we wanted desert. We said no and the waiter said we had to leave in 5 minutes. We explained we had waited over an hour to be served he said “everyone came in at the same time.” We complained that we didn’t know there was a time limit we were told they let us know in the email. I didn’t get an email. Very disappointing experience and wound never go back.

We had 4 amazing appetizers to share, and then shared the most disappointing ravioli dish especially for $46. We complained to the waiter and he explained they had just switched truffle suppliers… and apparently we were the victims of that poor choice on the restaurant’s part. No compensation was offered for the tasteless $46 entree. Giving it 4 stars still because the rest of the meal was divine. Was expecting to be blown away by main course and left disappointed.

Bad service. Noise level off the charts. Cancelled an entree because we wanted over half an hour for a fish and they charged us anyway! DO NOT GO THERE!!!
