Absolutely delicious!
We got the rice, siu mai, shrimp toast, and the char siu bao. The presentation on the rice is SO cute 😭 I love the standing mushrooms. I will say it’s pretty heavy on seasoning, so it’s hard to eat without switching to something else/drinking something. All of the dim sum was amazing, but I highly recommend the shrimp toast and the char siu.
The service was chill and I love how they decorated the place. The art on the walls make me happy :) thank you for having me!

I was here last night for Winterlicous with some friends and there were some notes.
I'm not sure anyone was blown away by the appetizers. I had the veggie dumplings which were good but they weren't different from what you could buy in the grocery store.
My friends ordered the short rib and weren't fans of the sauce. They said it was really thick and heavy, and too peanuty. The vegetarian main (eggplant, green beans, and tofu over rice) was delicious, however. The veggies were a bit charred and they gave everything a nice smokey flavor.
A few people had the chocolate cake and did not care for it. Everyone agreed that the honey toast was delicious though! I wanted to note that the Winterlicous menu (at least online, I'm not sure about the physical menu) marked all desserts as vegetarian, but two had gelatin, so this was incorrect.
Finally, when booking weeks prior, we were TD we could only reserve a table for 4 people. So, we had to split our group into two tables. Looking around the restaurant, we saw that tables could easily be pushed together, but we were also sitting right next to a table with six chairs and only 4 people sitting at it. We sat through dinner looking sadly over at our other friends across the room, so it wasn't the best evening.
Various dishes were all cooked to perfection. And the flavors blend in thai, Chinese etc. Every bite brought out my food adventure trips in Asia .
Well done !

FEBRUARY 6,2026 for winterlicious menu. Love it. I have the fried chicken and my husband have the Kara Kara beef.
Although my fried chicken could use a little more white dough with. Both dishes were awesome.
The service was superb!

This restaurant was an absolute disappointment. Nowhere did it say we had to pre order duck, and we were denied it when we got in despite them serving others it once they inquired. The fire alarms and fans had not been cleaned in who knows how long and that's where we were sitting. The manager, Ian, was completely rude and dismissive, but our waitress Britney was nice. I would caution anyone who wanted to eat here.

One word... Delicious 😋. Loved the vibe of this place. Came to try their Winterlicious menu and wasn't disappointed. My fav dishes are Lamb Spiducci, Korean Fried Chicken and the Honey Toast. May need to save up to try their regular menu items 😉

Exceptional all around. The dishes aren't complex and yet the few ingredients used merge to create decadence and deliciousness. The service was highly attentive yet non-disruptive, and extremely hospitable. A lovely experience.
Was truly excited to dine here on my one night in TO, passing thru for a business meeting. Service was absolutely stellar from beginning to end. Great recommendations, extremely attentive and knowledgeable servers. Started with a signature tequila cocktail which did not disappoint. Ordered shrimp toast which was good, but the aioli was meh and the bites tasted more fatty than shrimpy. Then I had a decent glass of red wine (wanted hot sake, but they only serve cold… yikes) and had the famous fried rice. While the flavours and texture are complex and layered, it was surprisingly much too salty. (My hands and feet are actually retaining a lot of water this morning as a result of the sodium levels in the food). I was offered a complimentary mango ice cream ball to finish which was an absolute delight.

Absolutely spectacular service from start to finish. Cocktail did not disappoint, neither did the wine choice. Was a bit disappointed that I couldn't get hot sake. The shrimp toast was beautifully presented, however it tasted fatty and not as shrimpy as I would have liked. The main fried rice was gorgeous, intricately layered with texture and compelling flavours, however it was much too salty. I was presented with a complimentary mango ice cream and it was sublime. I'd come back to try other dishes, tho. It's a very hip place, cozy vibe and super talented service team.

Definitely not worth the price. Food is meh, you can definitely find better Asian food with this price.
Pretty disappointed.

I love(d) R&D, but this time it felt like the food and service wasn't up to its usual standards. The fried rice, usually one of my favourites, was very oily. Overall all the dishes were in decline compared to my last visit. Staff too, were lax and distracted, lacking their usual professionalism. Hopefully it was just an off night and not a trend.
This place is legit. Every single dish is a testament to why they are Michelin rated. Their mushroom fried rice and bulgogi are to die for. I also love the short rib in curry.

This was a must on our list of Toronto Asian eats and I must say - the dry aged Peking duck absolutely lived up to the hype 🦆

Wait staff first: they were very good - attentive without being annoying. As appetizers we (my fiancee and I)chose the pork wontons and the shrimp toast. The wontons were very good with a spicy sauce, so if your tastes don't run that way be aware. The shrimp toast was incredible. I could have eaten ten of those at least. Highly recommended. For mains we chose the fried chicken and the cavatelli. The wings were delicious - all meat and no bones to deal with. The cavatelli was the only sour note - they were extremely salty. Likely the result of using a salty sausage and then adding salt to the sauce. It was my fiancee's birthday (the greeter had taken note of this) so she got a dish of mango ice cream with sparkler. We ordered the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was excellent - not overly sweet and a good-sized portion.
