Visited this place for our wedding anniversary dinner. Food and ambiance was great and staff is very friendly I would like to mention that Palchhin( hope i spelled correct) did recommended cocktail and food which suits to our palate. They have live dj playing at background with Bollywood peppy number's.Overall it was great experience give a try if looking for good contemporary Indian food with playful ambience.

Went for date night dinner at Raftaar kitchen, in the old Bar Hop location near Pape and Danforth. The food was so good. I'm still uncomfortably full. The server was really helpful at helping me choose what to order, I had a couple of options I was considering and I told him what I liked and he made recommendations. The chicken Tikka masala was amazing and my husband loved his mutton boti masala (this one has bones), both are spicy and I asked for extra spicy. The fries were amazing but were quite spicy and had a wonderful kick. The naans were so good. My husband loved his drinks. All in all it was a great experience. If you don't drink the cost is much cheaper.The only thing I didn't enjoy was there was a QR code on the table for the menu. I prefer a menu, I don't like scrolling on my phone. But I didn't ask for a menu, maybe they had them.Parking: The night we were out there were lots of paid street parking spots available. There's normally lots of free street parking in the area too. It depends on the night and that's happening on the Danforth to find parking.

I got a takeaway from Raftaar Kitchen and Bar, and it was amazing! My friend Palchhin suggested the Soya Malai Chaap, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Raftaar is definitely the place for great food and friendly service!

Our server Dikshant was super welcoming and kind to our family. Raaftar is a great addition to the neighborhood and will become a regular spot for us. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful.We had the tandoori momos, paneer tikka, and paneer pasanda. Note for the chef: if possible offer options to have less salt in the dishes.Lots of vegetarian options and very kid friendly. Dikshant shared that the food prep for vegetarian dishes was done entirely separate from meat dishes which is a thoughtful touch.He was also super kind to make us a cocktail to try!
