New to the neighborhood and popped into this place during their Xmas party and they were nice enough to invite us to join in on the food they had laid out for their regulars. The owner is outgoing and welcoming and it immediately felt like we were part of the cool kids. They have a pool table and darts and good cold beer. Liked the food but of course with greeks at the helm, the food is going to be good!

Came for game 7 tonight (☹️) and just wanted to shoutout the bartender/server. Place was packed from 7 and she was the only one on. With every seat full and a bunch of others standing, she gave optimal service. She was as attentive as can be, and made sure to communicate to guests when their order would get to them. She’s so kind and graceful, im happy she could participate in celebrating the little wins throughout the game. Honestly great dive bar. Really friendly people and good food!

I called earlier this evening to see if there was any chance of getting a table tonight. With game 7 of the World Series, I figured it was unlikely and prefaced my call as such. The woman who answered the phone audibly cackled - for several seconds - and then told me “that’s a funny one!!” before proceeding to cackle some more. A simple “no” would’ve been fine, and probably quicker if you were as busy as you said you were. We recently moved to the neighbourhood and are trying to find our local pub - won’t be this one. Hope your staff aren’t always this rude.

Rails 'n Ales is a humble but mighty Danforth staple that has been punching above its weight for years. They offer simple but delicious food at startlingly reasonable prices. The service is routinely excellent (you know who you are) and the vibe is warm and welcoming. This is a terrific if unprepossessing neighbourhood joint - highly recommended!

Was pretty empty, and my group had a fun time playing pool and queuing up songs on the jukebox.
A great local, always get great service, the food prices still think it's 2018! It's been my regular in the area for years, figured I should leave a great review for a great place.

This was our first stop on our journey to find neighbourhood chicken wings that are tasty and cooked properly. We ordered takeout as we live very close by. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered both the Mild wings and the Honey Garlic and were very happy with them. We also had a side of onion rings. There are many options on the menu and we will drop over for a sit down evening in the future. This is an older more classic pub but kept in good shape and clean. A solid neighbourhood pub. Plenty of TV screens to catch the games.
