It’s truly disappointing to see how much this place has declined from what it once was.
The kebabs were overwhelmingly stuffed with bread, lacked proper seasoning, and had an undercooked, raw taste dominated by garam masala. The chana bateta, bhajias, and mixed items seemed as though they were simply reheated in a microwave—bland, lacking freshness, and clearly not prepared recently, likely having been taken from the freezer.
I used to genuinely enjoy coming here and didn’t even mind making the trip through Don Valley traffic. Sadly, after this experience, I won’t be returning. What a letdown from a place I once recommended.

This place is a hidden gem. Beef mishkaki , chicken mishkaki and ribs just amazingly delicious. I also loved thr fries which came with the ribs. Their chai is also good. Loved the food.
I bought two meat cutlets and one packet of heart-shaped thepla, and both were hard, and they were not fresh.

Absolutely delicious East African dishes!My fav arethe ribs,mogo (cassava)kababmishkakiThey also have all the East African snacksLike mogo chips, peanut pastry, buyu ( yummmy?)MUST TRY IF YOUR IN TOWN! Everytime I visit Toronto I end up here atleast once and take a few plates of ribs to go Very sweet family husband and wife that own the shop! Beautiful hospitality and very honest!
