My favourite udon restaurant in Toronto!Pros: great udon, great food. I think the prices are worth paying for the high quality of udon you get. The service is quite decent (we got a free snack when paying too!)Cons: there is usually a wait and they got rid of the yelp waitlist unfortunately. Be prepared to burn some time after signing up for the waitlist in-personPictured: (been two times now) Nabeyaki udon, Niku udon, and Gyunan udon. With tempura on the sideVegetarian options: 7 hot udon options, 3 cold options

Tried the hot udon, chawanmushi, fried eggplant as well as uni and ikura don. Everything was good but the uni and ikura was overpriced at $42. I would say there were only 2 tablespoons worth of each ingredient over a bowl of rice. If I had known, I would not have ordered it. But the rest of the dishes were exceptional.Tables are small and very near each other so you will be able to hear your neighbour's conversation.

We tried the kani ankake udon and the nabeyaki udon at this aesthetic japanese udon restaurant. The udon noodles were so soft and chewy — probably the best udon I have ever tried! I found the kani ankake to be especially good. The crab and the thick soup with egg was so flavourful and comforting. We came on a Monday night and were put on a waitlist since it was so busy. The wait time was around 20-30 minutes, but I don’t regret it at all :) Service was also nice and decently fast!

Best udon place in Toronto.I first visited here when they had just opened and visited recently. Their food is consistent. Very chewy udon noodles. We had cold udons this time. Chilli oil was nice but its spices were strong. Maybe cinnamon or star anise or ginger? If you don’t like spices I suggest not getting it. Ankimo and gyoza were ok.The only downside is that they’re always busy so service is alright. The fact that they don’t take reservations is very inconvenient.

It is as good as I remember. The first time I had this was in 2021, I have been thinking about it since. I wish we have something this good in Vancouver.

The atmosphere is super welcoming and the udon is just awesome. Servers are kind and really nice. It’s a small spot but the Japanese food is special.

Everyone kept recommending this spot and I can totally see why! I had the gyunan udon, and the broth was amazing! It can definitely get busy, but the lineup was smooth and totally worth it!

My son's girlfriend who was Japanese took me and she ordered the dishes that she thought I would like... honestly, everything was delicious, impeccable presentation and we had a spectacular time. I will surely repeat on my next visit to Toronto.

A very authentic place! I ordered the udon with shrimp tempura and monkfish liver. Definitely try the monkfish liver as it is a delicacy and if you’re feeling adventurous! You could also tell the noodles were hand made as they are bouncy and elastic. A great dining experience indeed!

Never come back again, the food is soooooo overpriced 29 dollars for a bowl of noodles , and the service is even worse, we only stayed there for 30min, The waiters kept asking if we had finished. Don’t go it’s not worth it!!!? and they are asking for the tips?
