Sometimes you need to have some bland, barely edible food to appreciate all the flavours life has to offer.

Too Spicy for my taste and the ramen was flavourless
The only Ramen place that has no soup
We tried Jinya at Vancouver very impressed. So when in Toronto decided to try again. It was a Sunday, no queue! The ramen were consistently good. Tried the pork bun too, juicy, soft, tasty. Wish it is slightly bigger portion. All in all a great meal with great price.
The broth it was so tasteful!! And the environment is really nice! I liked and I intend to comeback.
Been here a few times and my family loves the pork tonkotsu ramen. We're divided whether Jinya is better than our voted no.1 ramen-ya which is Sansotei ( You can find it in my earlier review.). Whatever the case, it is definitely a contender. Plating-wise, Jin ya is lacking but taste-wise, the soup broth is rich and on the creamy side due to the fat or the collagen in the broth. The shallot garnish was a bit of an overkill as it left a very strong onion taste. Otherwise, if you remove it right after they serve it, then you keep the soup from soaking in the onion flavour. The chicken ramen is nothing special. Not bad but not good either. Pales in comparison to the pork tonkotsu. The chicken chashu felt like chicken or turkey ham- dry and wanting in flavour. The crispy chicken was good and juicy. Staff was prompt and friendly but needed reminder as sometimes they forget. Overall, the tonkotsu is great and can compete with Toronto's best tonkotsu ramen. The chicken ramen, however, needs work but good effort.
Went here on a Sunday afternoon. There are not a lot of people so it was quick to find a seat. Ordered Jinya Tonkutsu Black ramen. It was generally good, but could have been better if it was hot when it was served. Also, I believe it is a bit pricey relative to its competitors who offer the same product. What good about Jinya though is that one can pay a certain amount to refill soup or noodle. In addition, the staff were very nice and quick to respond.
All three Ramen bowls that we ordered through UberEATS were spilled. One ramen had no soup in it because of the spill. Their Takoyaki was made differently than other places because they had some egg paste base. I don't mind visiting the place again but I would definitely not order through UberEATS again

Stopped in for ramen late one night, and have now gone for a second time! Very good, lots of choices. Try the cha cha cha if you like garlic - they bring you extra fresh garlic and a press right to your table so you can add it to your liking
We were in the area and this place came up on Google so we gave it a try. They don't have gluten free noodles, but I was glad to see that they have the option of a large size bowl of rice, instead of other ramen places that only serve little tiny bowls. Hubby liked his noodles, he said the broth is not as creamy as other places, but it's still good. It was interesting to see Brussel sprouts on the menu. The tempura was good, and we were just in time to catch the happy hour price!
Ramen bowls were excellent and served in many different varieties. Also had the shrimp tempura which was excellent too. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back on my next trip to Toronto.
We stopped in for a late lunch and we were greeted by an amazing server. He was friendly, fast and fun. The food was incredible and We will be back! This is an awesome little restaurant that everyone should try !
This is my second time going to Jinya and I loved the food both times. The service can be a little slow but other than that it's a great experience. They can get really busy at night and sometimes there can be a lineup but all that says to me is at the food is really good.
