We tried Jinya at Vancouver very impressed. So when in Toronto decided to try again. It was a Sunday, no queue! The ramen were consistently good. Tried the pork bun too, juicy, soft, tasty. Wish it is slightly bigger portion. All in all a great meal with great price.
Been here a few times and my family loves the pork tonkotsu ramen. We're divided whether Jinya is better than our voted no.1 ramen-ya which is Sansotei ( You can find it in my earlier review.). Whatever the case, it is definitely a contender. \n\nPlating-wise, Jin ya is lacking but taste-wise, the soup broth is rich and on the creamy side due to the fat or the collagen in the broth. Went here on a Sunday afternoon. There are not a lot of people so it was quick to find a seat. \n\nOrdered Jinya Tonkutsu Black ramen. It was generally good, but could have been better if it was hot when it was served. Also, I believe it is a bit pricey relative to its competitors who offer the same product.\n\nWhat good about Jinya though is that one can pay a certain amount to refill soup or noodle. In addition, the staff were very nice and quick to respond.
