I walked in today without even knowing the name of this café because I had just finished work and was starving. Upon entering I was greeted by a very friendly server who explained what foods they have and showed me the hot food bar. I ordered the chicken parm meal which was part of the hot bar and honestly it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in Toronto. It was fresh, delicious, and came with tasty sides. The price was very reasonable given the portion, quality, and freshness of the food as well as the atmosphere and service. Definitely coming back and I can’t believe I was unaware of the existence of this place! It’s a true Toronto gem.

Really nice and caring staff, great coffee, and tasty egg sandwiches. It’s a cozy place without the pressures of pretension that some other coffee places have, and the back patio is quaint in the best of ways.That said, I’ve reduced my review over time because every time I visit to eat and get a bit of work done (1-1.5 hours at most, and never when it’s busy), I’m told by the staff that I should keep ordering things or the owner might get frustrated. It’s a shame.There was a time I could see myself being a regular here, but no longer, unfortunately.

Really enjoyed the coffee and croissant, but the person serving us behind the cash was coughing into their hand several times... the same hand to place the lid on the coffee and handle our food. This is unsanitary during the current pandemic and otherwise. Please do better in that respect. I hope to come back another time and want to see this cafe in my community thrive, but would like to be reassured that staff are not showing up to work with symptoms - masking would also be wise to protect your staff and patrons.
Every time I come here the staff are incapable of doing two things at once. If it's good service you're after don't bother. 15 minutes to buy a diet coke? Gimme a break. ???

The food at rapido is amazing. Every day there's a new selection of hot foods and side salads and you can never go wrong. I've yet to have anything but an excellent lunch here!The coffee and snacks are great also.
