Sweetest lady ever at the counter. I recommend the fettuccine with the jerk chicken, never misses. Great plates too.

Very much a hole in the wall. Some of the food is so so so good. Their traditional Jamaican food was amazing, but their Italian food was not so good (watery and bland)

My fam and I attended Waterworks Food Hall for a Black History Month wine event happening upstairs. We were starving afterwards and decided to have the jerk chicken sandwich from Rasta Pasta. My goodness! Talk about worth the wait. The coco bread was fresh. Jerk chicken seasoned to perfection, and the coleslaw had the right amount of creamy texture to add to the sandwich. You must try.

UPDATE JAN 2026: THIS REVIEW IS OF THE KENSINGTON MARKET LOCATION ONLY. I HAVE NOT, NOR WILL I BE EATING OR REVIEWING THE OTHER LOCATION. THE BEST FOOD IS AT THE KENSINGTON MARKET LOCATION.

Rasta Pasta is best. Beyond delicious jerk and service at the grill is like coming home. Good people making fabulous food. Love it.

I usually have a good experience here, but today was different. I went in for pick up and placed an order with an older woman. She was obviously not happy about something and was quite rude when taking my order. No greeting, no smile, pretty much barking at me to give my order. Then aggressively telling me tha they don’t have coleslaw for the sandwich as though I forgot to deliver it. When I went back to pick it up, she completely ignored me, walked past me and started washing dishes. I was then fortunately served by the nicer gentleman who was cooking. When i got home it’s as if there was no attempt at cleanliness with the entire bag and outside of the container covered with food residue and oil.

Way too much sauce in the pasta - it's basically an Alfredo soup.

It’s in a fancy food court in the waterworks building. The rasta pasta Alfredo gnocchi were great. So much flavour! Nice pieces of mushrooms and fresh peppers. Best gnocchi I’ve ever had. So nice and light.

Had to track Rasta down at the Waterworks after missioning across town to find the Kensington location closed. Always great - the meal we most look forward to when visiting Toronto from Germany.

I got the Jamaican ox tail.
Tasted really good. Wish there was more sauce and meat.
The staff are nice. Quick and efficient service. Will come back

They also got goat curry. These dishes are available but not on the main menu posted above. Listed in front of the cash.
