I needed some water for my father who is ill and was feeling dizzy. This location insisted not to fill water and charged $1 for tap water. I had no change on me but Royela the staff refused to give the tap water even though I needed it for an ill person. What a terrible way to do business. I would avoid purchasing anything from here.

This place has delicious drinks, real fruit flavours, and chewy pearls with great staff service — one of the best bubble tea spots in downtown Toronto. 🥭🥭🥭

I froze the mango smoothie I bought yesterday and tried it today. Even after freezing, the flavor was amazingly fresh and rich. It didn’t lose any of its taste, which really impressed me. Next time, I’m definitely going to enjoy it again in the summer as a refreshing sorbet!

Arrived 5 minutes late after the closing time but the staff is really kind, she went above and beyond helping me with a drink after a busy shift at the hospital. Definitely recommended this place!!! Love ya girl

The Real Fruit Orange Slush is amazing! You can really taste the fresh orange—tangy, slightly sweet, and super refreshing. It’s the perfect drink on a hot day. Not too sugary, just natural and delicious. Highly recommend!

During my visit to the Real Fruit location inside Princess Margaret Hospital, I witnessed an unfortunate interaction between a customer (who later identified herself to security as Andrea) and the sole employee present at the time (I believe her name was Christine).

Andrea expressed dissatisfaction with her drink, which is entirely within reason. However, she raised her voice noticeably and, in my view, attempted to publicly embarrass the employee in front of others nearby. As she walked away, she stated loudly that she would be leaving a negative review of the location. When the employee asked for her name, Andrea replied, “I don’t need to tell you my name. I don’t work for you.”

The Real Fruit employee then calmly asked if Andrea would like her to call security, to which Andrea agreed. They walked together to seek assistance, and security soon arrived to take statements. While giving her statement, Andrea did not mention her own elevated tone. She identified herself to security as Andrea and continued to claim that the employee had responded emotionally. From my perspective, that was not the case—the employee remained composed and professional throughout the exchange.

Mistakes can happen in any customer service setting, but they do not warrant verbal disrespect or public belittlement. The RF employee demonstrated professionalism and restraint in a difficult situation, which deserves recognition.

Although Andrea may not report to the RF staff, as a visible representative of the healthcare institution she works for, her conduct reflected poorly in that moment. Respectful communication is a shared responsibility in any setting—especially within a hospital environment.

I love coming to the Princess Margaret location of Real Fruit Bubble Tea! While I usually enjoy a cold bubble tea, their hot teas are just as amazing—perfect for chilly days. It’s a busy spot, but ordering ahead on the app makes it a breeze; I rarely wait long at all. The staff here are always so polite and sweet, making every visit a pleasure. Highly recommend this location for both the drinks and the service!
