So old school dining. The Swiss chalet of seafood 😁 Place has been there for long time. Plenty of room. Easy access from street or atrium (which means it’s on the PATH). Friendly staff and very efficient service. Food is ok, it’s fresh and fast. Nice to get warm biscuits. Had the fish and chips. Fries were over seasoned for my taste (will ask for light or no seasoning next time) but the fish and coleslaw were great. A classic place to stop for a quick bite.

The food was a disappointment as it was way saltier than I had had before. Even the biscuits did not taste as delicious as before. The service was wonderful as the waiting staff was friendly and helpful.

Service is really bad The restaurant is not that busy may be only 10 tables occupied And yet they don't know where to seat me, they have to move me me from one table to another The servant in the section where I was seated she is super busy I've been waiting for 10 minutes then she can to ask if I am read to order or not. I have to leave without ordering Because if it takes all that time to order then I can imagine how long it would take to get the food May be they under estimate me because I was one person I would never recommend any one to go there....

Came with my parents on christmas day and it wasn't that busy. It took 10 minutes to take our drink order and we waited another 15 minutes after and still no drinks were served to us so we left. Told the staff member at the front why we were leaving and he had nothing to say. Good riddance.

I am now ILL with FOOD POISONING. Avoid at all costs. Called the manager to complain and he hung up on me when I said staff need to follow food safety protocols more closely. So rude. When asked, manager also told me that there are no real qualified or full time chefs working here…gonna report to health Canada. 🤦♀️🤮

LOW SHRIMP COUNT
Today my family and I had a lovely lunch at Red Lobster as we've done several times, except today we were disappointed because the number of shrimp we received on our "Shrimp Your Way" order was lower than expected. This evening, based on a quick visit to Red Lobster's website and observing the photos there, I was surprised to find that the number of shrimp we received seems to be in line with national standards. It appears to be a trend that Red Lobster is serving lower numbers of shrimp across the board than in the past.
So for reference, I paid $30 for 4 different kinds of shrimp. I ended up with 6 Walt's Favourite, 6 Garlic Shrimp, 4 Coconut Shrimp, and 4 Sweet Chili Shrimp - 20 shrimp in all plus a side of fries (which I found to be a small portion of fries) for $30 seems really steep to me and also it's just not a lot of food. I feel these portions should be at least 50% bigger.
I don't know if anyone significant from Red Lobster Canada would actually read this or take this into consideration. I suspect that the marginal increase in variable cost associated with larger portion sizes would be a worthwhile investment as it would result in substantially higher customer satisfaction, return costumers, and referrals.

I had an AMAZING experience at Red Lobster! Our waitress, Marina, was incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. It makes me sad to see that not many people are going there. I think if the restaurant had a more modern look, it might attract more customers.
