I don’t know what restaurant everyone else was eating at but the place was terrible. We were greeted by a grumpy waiter who didn’t even ask if my 9 year old sister (who later got a splinter from the chairs) wanted a kids menu. We didn’t get bread to start but the table beside us did, when I went to order the meatball gnocchi they said they didn’t have any meatballs which are in half of the dishes on the menu. The people that came after us got their food first and we just didn’t have a good time overall
Went here on a Saturday night and had heard its busy but we got in early without reservation. Food was excellent and our waiter, wish I could remember his name, was awesome. Really friendly, gave you space and recommended some nice dishes. They were nice enough to let us order off the steak menu from upstairs. Desert was excellent as well. Highly recommended.
Stopped in for dinner after a show nearby, not sure what to expect as it appeared to be only pasta and pizza, but was pleasantly surprised. Seated right away, very attentive server and excellent food! Had coconut shrimp appy to start. Then group had a mix of angel hair shrimp pasta, pizza, meatball gnocchi, salads. All were great portion sized and excellent flavors. Indulged on desert sharing between us apple torte with ice cream, chocolate mousse, cream brulee, and key lime pie. The pie was the best.... not saying the rest were bad, it was just incredible. Servers ask if you are coming or going to a show to ensure timing. And make excellent recommendations of food. High recommend and would happily visit again if in the area.
Great service staff was welcoming and accepting of dampened diners. The cook staff was up to the challenge and provided food beyond excellent.
My date and I needed a place to eat a quick dinner before seeing the TSO at Roy Thomson Hall on a Saturday night in December. This was close by, they seated us right away, took our orders right away and the food came out fast and hot! We both had the carbonara and while it was rich, it was very good. We were in and out in less than a hour and it was less than a 5 minute walk to our destination. Perfect!
On two levels. Upstairs steakhouse, downstairs pizza/pasta restaurant. Although not fans of pizza chose that one for a change. Not disappointed. Has a sit up bar. We had the greatest server who gave us tips on restaurants to try on our visit to Toronto. Chose two diff pizzas and shared. Really enjoyed. Warm and cosy
