Booked a cocktail class for Valentine's Day and we had a blast! Graham (shoutout to his girlfriend too!) is an amazing teacher. We came into this class not knowing anything about cocktail making and we learned so much. We also got food after the class which was really good. Will definitely be recommending their cocktail making class to all of our friends :)
A wonderful local distillery in TO worth the visit if you're willing to visit the east side. They offer cocktail making classes that are great for a date night out or anyone interested in an introduction into the craft.
The home produced gins and classic cocktails they put their own twist on are a delight and worth trying while you're there.
Sunday afternoon High Tea was a delicious, relaxed, fun experience and I plan to go again. They also have other interesting events to check out
Reid’s Distillery was a really fun and memorable experience. The cocktail making class was super cool and easily the highlight. It was hands on, engaging, and actually felt like you were learning something rather than just watching someone mix drinks. The staff were knowledgeable, relaxed, and made the whole thing feel welcoming and fun without being pretentious. The space itself has a great vibe, stylish but comfortable, and the cocktails we made were genuinely excellent. It is a great option if you want something different from the usual night out and still feel like you are getting good value and a unique experience. Highly recommend for a group or a fun date idea.
Amazing class with Mike and amazing time and learned alot!!!
Mike is an amazing and knowledgeable Teacher! Loved this cocktail class with my best friend! Highly recommend the class and teacher !
SO much fun - Mike was amazing and the cocktails were truly enjoyable. Thanks team!
Amazing experience! Hats off to the proprietors who provide informative fun and engaging tasting sessions, great value and oh yeah: their gin is top notch 🍸 support Canadian 🇨🇦
We recently hosted an event at Reid’s Distillery and, unfortunately, the experience was terrible from start to finish.
While the planning phase seemed fine and the walk-through went smoothly, the day of the event was a disaster. The site map provided by Reid’s event planner was incorrect, forcing us to move the stage at the last minute. Chairs were cramped together, and our tech crew had to double their equipment to compensate, increasing costs significantly.
The bar manager was rude and dismissive, walking away from sponsors while they were speaking. One of the owners promised to resolve problems, but the solutions did not meet expectations. He attempted to blame “new staff” and a “new events coordinator” — which we later learned was untrue — effectively shifting blame onto employees rather than taking responsibility.
Other issues included:
Staff eating catering during the event
Long lines at the bar due to inadequate staffing
Promised venue arrangements not completed
At the end of the night, staff took leftover food and alcohol that was meant for sponsors and volunteers
When we debriefed afterward, the owner offered no compensation, reimbursement, or donation to the charity we organized with.
For a venue that is marketed as “premium” and expensive, this level of mismanagement and disrespect is unacceptable. We do not recommend Reid’s Distillery for events — there are many other venues in the area that will treat you, your guests, and your sponsors with the professionalism and respect you deserve.
Also, be careful with some of the 'positive' reviews below. I recently discovered they ask their friends/staff to 'review'.

Mikes the best
I loved the experience thank you so much !
Birthday girl’s cocktail making class was a blast! All of the drinks made in class were delicious and the host was an absolute joy to watch and learn about the history of gin and the distillery. Definitely an enjoyable experience if you are into cocktails, gin and supporting a local Canadian business!
Wonderful date night out! Mike was great. Thank you
