REIGN Restaurant + Bar + Bakery

First off Robert is what every server should aspire to be. I don’t know how this restaurant got him but they secured a keeper. I love Gin and he was the Gin plug, he served me my drinks and educated me about other options he would recommend me try both in the restaurant and options they don’t stock. He treated my children with valid patrons and was even blessed with a smile from my grouchy baby who never smiles at ANYONE. Thank you Robert for making this dining experience the highlight of our trip to Toronto!

We went to REIGN for Summerlicious and had a wonderful experience. The decor is absolutely gorgeous—elegant and sophisticated, creating a beautiful atmosphere. The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive, and each course was beautifully prepared and incredibly delicious. The portions may look small at first glance, but don’t be fooled—they’re surprisingly filling, and we left feeling more than satisfied. We really enjoyed our time at REIGN and would love to go back again!

The main highlight- A superb service!

A wonderful lady who listened carefully, and accommodated incredibly well to a celiac person on our table - no gluten, no cross contamination.
The food was excellent- a perfectly cut steak, grilled to our preferred temperature, generous portions of delicious sides (truffle fries are to die for)

We will be back!

Celebrated a birthday in on of their private rooms. Food and service were both amazing! Was a set menu but options still catered to everyone.
Prices are quite high, but expected given location and worth it considering the quality.
Highly recommend.

I came here for my birthday dinner, we didn’t make reservations but I found it unfortunate that the hosts or the server never asked if we were celebrating anything. Regardless we just wanted to be out for a nice meal downtown. Unfortunately that is not how things went. Initially the server didn’t seem too pleased to have us there. They eventually warmed up but they were obviously sick and kept coughing around us and the table and I can only assume on items they were brining to the table. I had the oysters to start, you could tell they had been sitting out because they were extremely warm. I then had the chicken burger for my main. The side salad was interesting, however inside the burger were several avocado stems. It was shocking to bite into something so hard when trying to enjoy a burger. I tried to remove it and continue enjoying however I found what seemed to be another stem but broken into a smaller piece. It really was unsettling and made me wonder about the overall health and safety practice here. From the constant coughing to finding non edible food items in my meal. I also noticed the staff touching the tops of glasses a lot. For example a support staff came to bring my beer and placed it down this his fingers at the top of the glass where a guest would be meant to put their mouth. The server did give us dessert on the house but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to compensate for the overall poor experience. It was also extremely loud in there, felt somewhat unnecessary. I couldn’t talk to the people across from me. The table was also very wobbly.
