We dined at Reign yesterday( February 5) as we always participate in Winterlicious / Summerlicious . The meal was excellent ,presided over by over gracious server, Herbert.
Great ambiance & service. It is a bit above what one would expect for a basic breakfast at a $37 price point...
Amazing food! I had the Winterlicious menu and my husband had the venison which FA exceeded his expectations. Our server Ava was excellent also!
We booked a table for brunch at Reign on a Sunday. We arrived promptly and were seated but then waited and waited for service. When we finally ordered drinks, it took 20 minutes for 3 Diet Cokes to arrive and then we were told we hade been given the wrong menus. We were one of only four tables being served in a large restaurant. I noticed the server spending a lot of time at the computer with no acknowledgement to our table. I stay at the Royal York regularly and have come to expect a much higher standard of service. I was disappointed this time.
Our experience was exceptional. Our server Jen (I believe that was her name) really created an evening to remember. She had the perfect let's make it right attitude and by the end of the night she has made my friends birthday experience something that she will always remember. We are very thankful to Reign for making our night so special.
So .. instead of spacing people out, and sitting them into the nice area with the wall art, They put everyone in the area with the big windows looking onto the path corridor outside and escalator outside, and the tables were fairly close to each other. 1/5 for Ambiance. Food was really good.
Jen was our server. We had a pleasant experience. The sea bass was amazing! The hostesses were wonderful!

What can I say besides, incredible! From start to finish Reign does not disappoint. The seasonal menu and hand crafted cocktails truly impress. No menu item is underwhelming. Lots of thought put into each dish.

Just be careful when booking through Open Table as the is out of touch with this restaurant . I wanted to book a table to dine in , so I saw couple time slots opening like within 15 minutes . However since I am a guest at the hotel , I saw a long line up at the restaurant and that tells me something doesn’t feel right !!!
So I called the restaurant and shockingly they said we are fully booked tonight .
Manager and staff : please keep your schedule updated with Open table so things match up nicely !

We ordered the burger with Caesar salad. It was excellent. The service was excellent as well. Our experience was very pleasant
It was pretty average given you are paying $25 per cocktail. The seating is not very relaxing/comfortable, unless you're lucky to get a cosy corner. Clearly it's just but you would think they have the staff to cope with that for this level of service anticipated in the fairmount! The greeters are not interested in being pleasant and almost rude. I expected the gold standard high calibre place and a relaxing place to take friends before dinner. It was not at all! four drinks $125, and would not rush to repeat the experience!
Excellent food but the service very slow! Had to call them to remind that we were still waiting for our sprite, and other things like salt, pepper, etc!Waiving across the restaurant to get what we needed?

Always a good breakfast. Service is first rate - per usual. The food is good - a bit pricey but it is the Fairmont. Great location for a business meeting!
HAIR IN FOOD. I attended for a dinner, weekday evening. Server was new. Everything required more of a wait than seemed necessary. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was not refrigerated properly, brought to the table and tasted sour. The server then said he will bring us a different bottle (of his choice) which was also not properly aerated and tasted bad. These bottles are $135 per, so they really should be properly handled, at that price point. In any event, we opted for glasses of wine instead, which were at a good temperature and tasted fine. Again, glasses were upwards of $25, so the expectation is that they would be handled properly. Ordered a burger, after apps, and it came out fine. I couldn't finish and asked for it to be boxed. When I returned home, I found an inch long hair in the package. You cannot charge such high prices and then package hair to be sent home for guests. It is disgusting, careless, and unacceptable. I will not be returning.
