I used to come here when I was a kid living down the street. I'm so grateful this place still exists! I had the halibut and chips and it was superb. Crispy, not dry. And the interior is friendly too. I came here for lunch on a Monday so maybe that's why everything was so fresh and delicious!

Everyone is complaining about how “fried” everything is here. Fish and chips are deep fried! My complaint here is not the food but the odour in the restaurant. Smells like a drain/sewer issue. They should get it fixed. Definitely a takeout restaurant.

I love all things seafood so I was excited to give this restaurant a try. The nautical feels were cute!
I opted to have one of each taco 🌮 . The tacos were a nice size and loaded with fish / or shrimp. I absolutely loved the tacos and would highly recommend them

I absolutely loved the popcorn shrimp They were amazing. So delicious
I had seen photos of their poutine and being a fish and chips place I wasn't sure what to expect. Hands down this blew me away . The gravy was flavored so well and it paired perfectly with the cheese. I know this is a fish place but I'm also going to be telling everyone about their poutine. 10/10

I came to this restaurant 3 times each time I got good service. I came yesterday on Oct7th and a different person was working. I did not want fries with my fish but wanted a small coleslaw she tolde that she would give me coleslaw instead of fries.i ordered 2 pieces of Halibut. I got take out. Right away in my van I noticed A very very bad smell The fish smelled very very bad it also tasted rotten. I called the restaurant she let me speak to the manager. He claimed he just recieved an order and that I should come back. I told him that I was very busy and did not have the time that I would come back later. I paid 30dollars for my order I gave the server a 5 dollar tip to get good service and she served me contaminated food. I got sick yesterday afternoon and could not drive home to Grimsby my stomach hurt and I got diarea from the little bit I tried. I now believe that this server deliberately sold me dirty stale contaminated fish on purpose I don't know why. I returned to the location thisorning I parked my van infront of restaurant . This server came out did not acknowledge me and she took out the garbage. I don't believe the managers story that he got an order yesterday. He is not truthful. I don't have the time to keep returning spending my gas for him to resolve this issue. I will never ever buy my food here again I am not a complainer last time I came I have 5he other server a good tip. I am a good customer the other server served me 3 times and I always returned. Yesterday's server in my opinion is an idiot. Serving dirty smelly contaminated fish can make someone very very sick. I will never ever eat here again they lost my Good business I am a man that spends I will never eat here again this should not happen and it cost me 35dollars plus gas a waste of money I will not spend amore money coming to this place. Theanagaer should get rid of yesterday's server also in my opinion she is an idiot and extremely unhigenic she should practice better hygiene and not serve smelly contaminated fish Today I'm eating my fish and chips elsehere

I am extremely disappointed. Was told that it would be a 10 min wait, no problem. Ended up being a 35 min wait which is okay but I realized too soon they gave me the wrong order. I had walked 25 minutes to pick up the order and could not walk back to rectify the error. I had ordered fish tacos and gotten shrimp tacos instead. I understand that error happens but a complete waste of time, money, and lunch.

I popped in and got some really amazing French fries. It was a very good size and well cooked. The severvice staff was very friendly and helpful. My new favorite place to get chips.
Get the haddock fish and chips. It was great. Battered perfectly. Fries were seasoned nice. Yes as some review say it has a smell but that is from toronto old buildings. I’ve smelt it in many other places. Perks of living in the city. But don’t pass this place up. Food is great. We got the special so it was 11.99 for 1 piece meal. Great value. Will go again.
