I was brought here as part of my bachelor party festivities and had an absoluetly fantastic time, the tacoyaki was spectacular, crunchy and gooey- the whiskey menu was extensive and the cocktails were carefully created- I cant reccomend this place enoigh.

Excellent food and cocktails! We thoroughly enjoyed our food: Stuffed chicken wings, miso eggplant, shrimp hargow and beef siumai. The cocktails were the highlight though: Garden of Time, Carnage, Manus X Machina and Corpse Resurrected. We would definitely come back to try other items on the menu!

We just love this hidden gem. We walked by this restaurant for about a year before we went in since we couldn’t figure out what kind of restaurant it is. We googled it and decide based on the reviews to try it. The food is outstanding and unique. The cocktails are great and the owners are very passionate about their food. We will be back!

Excellent food and service

Came here with friends last year during summerlicious. The wait for our food was pretty long despite being the only customers dining at the time. Despite the wait, the food was mediocre at best.

We also found it kind of lazy and weird that they just decided to put all our desserts on one plate.

Went here for Summerlicious. The dace dip and dim sum were just frozen/pre-prepared stuff from the Chinese supermarket. The mushroom udon was too salty and garnished with inedible parsley. Service was good but there was only one guy serving and operating the bar so it was slow when things got busy.

Came here for Summerlicious and was very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Nikka whiskey flight, cucumber salad, salmon, mushroom noodles, dum sum taster and the steamed buns for dessert. Everything was very well made and we thoroughly enjoyed the food.

The atmosphere was very cozy and our server was very knowledgeable about the food and whisky served to us. It was challenging as he was the only server but he was as attentive as he could be managing all the tables as it began to get busy.

I definitely recommend making a reservation as those who walked in had more of a wait. With the reservation, the food was brought out at a goos pace and served very fresh.

I'll definitely come back to try their drinks fr their cocktail menu.

Overall okay experience. We did not get any drinks but it was quite expensive. Food was nothing to write home about.

Everything was okay, only got dim sum. I would not recommend the soup dumplings.

This is definitely one of those don't judge a book by its cover restaurants as I highly recommend any whiskey lovers to come and try this place out. The inside far exceeds what you expect based on how the outside looks. The food was fantastic and the interior was so cozy and relaxing to me. Our sever was very knowledgeable about the drinks, flights and food. He walked us through the whiskey selections for the flights and gave blurbs about what to expect with each tasting and the back stories behind the companies or how the drink was produced. He gave great recommendations for cocktails and we had a wonderful evening there. I'm looking forward to the next time I'm back.

Finally! An amazing spot for cocktails and delicious food in our area! Resurrection is our new favourite spot in Etobicoke hands down.

First, the cocktails: Incredibly inventive and unique. They are complex and have a wide variety, and the Japanese whiskeys are so good. We have not come for a flight yet, but that is next on our list. This is a perfect spot to take friends to show off a cool spot in your area.

The food: Having been to Japan, you can tell that the same care and skill goes into the food here. Portions are perfect and the flavours are so perfectly balanced. We adored the dim sum, popcorn chicken and the salted egg bao.

Service has always been great for us. Our waiter even called back when he noticed we booked a reservation at the wrong time, and another he went above and beyond when he heard it was my birthday.

One thing to keep in mind: this is a small establishment with a small staff! This may mean that if the place is packed, wait times are longer. I do not think this is unreasonable as this is a local family run establishment and there is one server waiting tables, making cocktails and cleaning. If you go during a busy time, just be ready to take some time - they have fabulous cocktails you can sip on while you wait. Be patient - from our experience the food is more than worth it.

Planning to be regulars here for sure!
