My husband and I visited Resurrection Restaurant this past weekend and wow, just wow. First walking in you feel very welcomed and a modern inviting ambiance. We were greeted by what we come to find out one of the owner's Matthew and were seated at our table. We asked for their best cocktail to start, now I don't remember what it was called but it was so good we had several more. We ordered a couples of apps and mains. Everything was presented in such a beautiful manner and tasted just amazing. The service, food and cocktails were amazing we definitely plan to return again very soon.Big shout out to Matthew who welcomed us and made the best cocktails we've had in a while.Keep up the amazing work

I was drawn to Resurrection Restaurant + Japanese Whisky Bar after coming across some enticing social media content, and I was excited to experience it firsthand. The visit was a blend of highs and lows, and I think it’s only fair to share both. The Good:- Food: The Calamari and Tiger Shrimp we ordered were delicious. The flavours were spot on, although I’d personally recommend offering a different sauce than the wasabi mayo base, which felt a bit overpowering.- Ambiance: Despite its unassuming exterior, the interior of the restaurant is beautifully done. It has a nice, cozy feel that elevates the dining experience.- Bar Aesthetics: The bar area is particularly striking – a real highlight in terms of design and atmosphere. The Bad:- Drinks: Unfortunately, the Kumo & Violet Delight cocktails didn’t hit the mark for us. Both drinks were left unfinished, and despite mentioning this to our server, no further action was taken. A gesture like removing them from the bill or offering an alternative would have been appreciated.- Service: The service didn’t quite meet our expectations. With the restaurant not being busy, we hoped for more attentive service. Our interaction felt overlooked, and the sense of hospitality was missing.- Availability: It was disappointing to find that two appetizers we were eager to try (General Tao Chicken & La Kalbi) were sold out, limiting our choices.I’m generally hesitant to leave negative reviews, understanding the hard work that goes into running a restaurant and the impact reviews can have. However, feedback is crucial for improvement. My hope is that this review is seen as constructive, with the aim of enhancing future dining experiences. I believe in giving places a second chance and would encourage others to try Resurrection Restaurant, perhaps after some adjustments are made.

For a small place, it was super clean and good ambience. The food was just mind blowing! I had the butter udon noodles and god! This is definitely such a guilty pleasure. So buttery, so creamy and super flavourful!I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go to this place. Now I can’t wait for my friends and family to go here and enjoy a good meal.Drinks were really good as well, a bit too sweet for my taste yet it was so refreshing that I didn’t mind it at all. ❤️

An excellent fresh new local take on Japanese whiskey! I loved their selection, was able to try Suntory's Hibiki Harmony for the first time. We paired with the Cornish hen. Delicate and crispy. Lilith cocktail was a great liquid dessert. Loved this new hidden gem, will definitely be returning!Btw if you're gonna get one thing off the menu, fried chicken dumplings. If you know, you know. The best I've ever had.Parking: Lots of parking out front

Discovered this new bar recently! They have a solid Japanese whiskey collection and has Japanese elements in their cocktails. For example, godless was matcha base! They have quite the menu. Dim sum is served with their housemade trio sauce to elevate the dish. If you like heat, you’ll love this!! The chow lo bak go and truffle butter udon is really good. But save room for dessert cuz the tempura cheesecake is to die for!!!Happy hour is 3 - 5:30pm, 9:30pm - close.

Love the Japanese Whisky Bar set up here! Definitely check out their Asian inspired drinks. Dim sum is super cheap and a lot of Asian fusion dishes! Go get their happy hour menu, only here for a limited time! Definitely try their fried radish cake, miso black cod and golden custard buns!

Came for dim sum and a cocktail, really nicely renovated inside, great service, food was very good. The strip mall on the outside isn’t much to look at, but inside it’s great.
