Ask for a spicy margarita with a tajin rim and jalapenos, Ada (and Tillmann) and Rachel makes them the best!! 🌶️ Low-key bar with great bartenders.

Never been here before. Stoped in with a friend to grab a bite to eat for lunch. I’ll be brief! The restaurant is dirty, old, not maintained very well. The service was very slow and the food was absolutely disgusting! Not cooked, slimy chicken. We didn’t finish eating our food. Way over priced!! We left and will never go back! Do not eat here.

Great service! We got the Cobb salad and a burger. Both delicious!
I witnessed the owner Rex accuse a young black woman who just walked in of trying to skip on a bill that was more than she could possibly have had in the short time she was there. He was belligerent, unprofessional and clearly inebriated. It looked like she knew him from coming there before. She was trying to pay for the drinks SHE ordered. In the end she paid a higher bill that wasn’t hers by force.
Horrible.

I decided to pop into Rex's one night when I got into Toronto late. The music was on point. It was the right collection of oldies, a very jazzy playlist. The bartender (Andriana) was so personable and interesting. I meant to have one and stayed for the night. Rex, the owner, came around and is an unbelievable guy. I fell in love with this place. The patrons were amazing, the conversation flowed and the atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. If you're in the area and want somewhere with a really laid back and cool vibe, it's the spot. 14/10. It's home. (One day I'll try the food)

The ricitini and Stella were so, so, so delicious!! The staff took good care of me, and the bathroom and space were reasonably nice. The sangria in the first photo was delicious, but don't order vodka soda because it's just expensive carbonated water.

Came here today with my team for holiday celebration. The place was dead when we got there. Since we had another activity booked 1.5 hours later, we notified the hostess of our rush. The food took a while to arrive and half of the team did not get their food until 20-30 minutes after the first meal arrived. Although the waitress was apologetic but we were like 20 minutes late to our next activity. Second, the quality of the food is awful. Most of us didn’t finish our food. That is how bad it is. Lastly, the price, not only was the food over priced, my mediocre sandwich costs $30, they also automaticity added 20% tip to our bill without asking. Since we were in the rush , I did not notice until I got home. Overall, unpleasant experience. Consider warned that you should avoid this place by all means

Really wanted to try the BBQ lamb dinner because I passed over a cpl times seeing the BBQ at the patio, but terrible service over the phone call as the server even didnot want to say one more word just saying it is uncertain and then hanger over directly, when I asked when they normally have the BBQ. Disappointed..
