Reyna on King Reviews
We had never been before and chose the restaurant because we were seeing a play at the Canadian Stage on Berkeley street. The food was amazing. We had the Lebanese taco (falafel), Reyna salad, lamb baklava and cauliflower croquet … wow was delicious. Saffron baklava for dessert. Small plates so you can try a few things to share even with two people. A must try, we will be back

Reyna on King offers a great dining experience with excellent service from friendly staff, including exceptional servers. The food is amazing, featuring standout dishes like halloumi souvlaki, grilled prawns, and the already popular manchego/cauliflower croquettes, artichoke, and shawarma platters. The atmosphere is lovely, with a gorgeous room and outstanding cocktails. The restaurant has a small, cozy setting with about 20 tables plus a bar. Guests praise the good flavor and presentation of dishes like lamb shank Benny and croque madame, along with a beautiful patio and tables by the open window to enjoy the sunshine. The decor is very nice, adding to the overall charm. Cocktails are creative and well-made, with a full list of classics for those who prefer familiar drinks. The service is attentive, with servers providing thoughtful recommendations, making it a place worth visiting for both brunch and dinner. Recently, visitors have highlighted the great variety of small plates and drinks, noting the place is very popular and fully booked even on a weekday. The happy hour offers great prices on drinks, and while only one dish, the croquettes, is part of the happy hour menu, it is delicious. Dishes like matchstick fries, lamb arays, and mezze mix are also well-received. The vibe inside is described as amazing, with friendly service and smoky cocktails like the mezcal Smoke Show. Overall, Reyna on King is seen as a hidden gem with a warm, inviting atmosphere, beautiful space, and flawless details. Many guests express excitement to return for dinner, enjoying the food, vibe, and attentive service that make it a standout spot for both casual and special occasions.
