Great place for Brazilian food in Toronto! We were in town and my friends said they always order from there, so we took the chance to visit. It didn't disappoint, portions were big and everything was tasty, especially the picanha 🤤🤤🤤
I recently went to Rio 40° for a business dinner at the request of my guests, who wanted to try a Brazilian-style steakhouse experience. We booked our table in advance, which I highly recommend to avoid any issues, and everything went smoothly.
Parking was convenient — there’s paid street parking right in front of the restaurant. I paid $8.75 for about 3 hours, and parking is free after 9 pm if you can find a spot.

My wife and I just returned from a month in Brazil and missed the food. We drove 2 hours to Toronto to get our fix. Rio 40 is a home run. The Picanha and Feijoada were as good as anything we had in Rio de Janerio. Our server Brenda was fluent in Portuguese and English and super friendly. Our food came out quickly and it was spot on with all the same flavors and textures we love about Brazilian food. We’ll be back!
