Riz St. Clair doesn’t just serve food—it serves a culinary lifeline for anyone living the gluten-free life. But let me tell you, this place doesn’t need a gimmick. It’s just damn good food, gluten-free or not.
We rolled in with a group, one celiac in tow, and ordered family-style. The menu is vast and unapologetically ambitious, and it delivers. The Garlic Shrimp? Sublime—bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and downright addictive. The Very Popular Beef? For once, a name that’s not just marketing—it was tender, rich, and unforgettable. And the General Tao’s Chicken? Someone at our table declared it the best they’ve ever had, and I’d be hard-pressed to argue.
The supporting cast didn’t disappoint, either. The Thai Basil Chicken, Fried Rice, and Singapore Vermicelli all held their own. Even the spring rolls were a treat, though we leaned more toward the veggie over the chicken.
But this place isn’t just about the food—it’s about the experience. The staff were on point: friendly without hovering, knowledgeable without pretense. They made the whole evening feel effortless.
Riz St. Clair isn’t just a restaurant—it’s proof that gluten-free cuisine can be bold, satisfying, and downright thrilling. If you’re in Toronto, don’t sleep on this place. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Dining at Riz St. Clair was an unforgettable experience. Their 100% gluten-free menu is a revelation, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater beautifully to both those with dietary restrictions and those without. We had one celiac in our group, but everyone enjoyed the meal equally, sharing everything family style.
The standout dishes? The Garlic Shrimp was phenomenal—bold, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. The Very Popular Beef truly lived up to its name, and the General Tao’s Chicken was declared the best one of us had ever tasted. We also enjoyed the Thai Basil Chicken, Fried Rice, and Singapore Vermicelli, all of which were solid choices. As for the spring rolls, we preferred the veggie ones, but both were crispy and delicious.
The staff made the experience even better with their friendly and attentive service. They were knowledgeable about the menu and ensured that our evening was smooth and enjoyable.
Riz St. Clair is a must-visit for anyone seeking an exceptional gluten-free dining experience in Toronto—or anyone who just loves fantastic food. Highly recommended!

Exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I'm vegan the host was very knowledgeable about menu items. I ended up eating a tomyum soup bowl with noodles. This is one of my favourite soups and they utterly nailed it. Classic taste but exceptionally flavorsome and fresh.

Went here for the pho after they changed the menu. I’ve had pho all over. This was perhaps the worst. The broth was bland. All the other gluten free dishes were great though.

The waitress was so kind, and when I dropped something and was unable to get it, she helped. She was so kind and even if the food was bad, she still brings the place up. Luckily though, the food was amazing. Highly recommend the spring rolls, they also have a new 100% gluten free menu on the way, despite already having a 95% gf menu. Also, the atmosphere was pretty good but the music stopped halfway through dining?

I had a take out of three egg rolls, which were very tasty, but really greasy. The cashew fried rice with shrimp was not worth it. A load of white rice, some flavour, some diced carrots and 5 shrimp . My total price was $40 to a take out. I was excited about finally trying this as a take away, and I was hoping for better. If you're into dimsum I think this would be a better way to enjoy this restaurant. As an individual meal out as a celiac there are other places I would go first.

Been here a few times and I'm always happy with my experience. I'm usually part of a medium to large group, and the staff do a good job of taking care of everyone at the table. Food is tasty, good variety on offer, and prices are fair. Big plus that there's so many gluten-free options for those who have that dietary restricion. Happy to return!

I ordered some take out from here, I got the GF spring rolls, Tom yum soup and pad Thai. I really like the fact they have so many GF options, I also did not have any reaction. The spring rolls were crispy and flavourful, the soup was also good although the portion size was quite small, the pad Thai portion was huge but it was kind of bland with flavour. Over all I enjoyed all the food and will definitely order again!
