they need to have clear signs on where to line up. also serve those who have been there first before anyone else. Made for a really awkward experience where multiple people left before even ordering.
People do come quite often, so it must be good food wise but There’s other good bake shops with much better service
Absolutely incredible desserts. Sometimes you have to wait in line, but it's worth it.

As a pastry and desserts lover, I was so excited to finally try this popular spot. Pondering at what to get in the cold rain slightly dampered the experience, but I was excited nonetheless! I decided on the puff cup, caramels, madeline and earl grey shortie. Puff cup was a whopping $15! It was extremely dry/brittle and didnt have a lot of salted caramel flavour. It kind of felt like I was eating random scraps put together in a cup. I found myself scavenging for the little bits of pastry cream and caramel before giving up on it half way through. The caramels are on the softer side and tasted slightly burnt. My preference is a more chewy and creamy caramel (Soma chocolatier makes the perfect salted caramel truffle) so I was dissapointed by that as well. The madeline and earl grey shortie were both excellent but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back for them. Roselle didn't live up to the hype for me unfortunately!
Im addicted! The place is out of my way but I try to pass by when I can. Their earl grey shorties are excellent. I also tried other shorties and they all taste fresh and delicious with the right amount of sweetness. The earl cake is also a favorite. I appreciate their cake cups although I don’t think they are exceptional so try different offerings if you want to experience Roselle truly.

Wish they had indoor seating and the cake cups are unique but not great. Rather just eat cake

The entire experience was amazing. I needed help to surprise my brother and best friend and Bruce & Stephanie made the entire process so seamless and easy. They answered all gazillion of my questions so patiently and didn't mind us changing the order 3 times before finally making a decision. Can't wait to visit the bakery in person. Everything looks delicious. Thank you so much.

I’ve lived in Montreal most of my life and haven’t been satisfied with the pastry offerings in Toronto (I still dream of the petit choux from Patrice Pâtissier). Roselle definitely competes. I tasted the Earl and a caramel puff cup and both were delicious. I really didn’t like the way you order from a street window and are unable to see their offerings before ordering. Next time I would preorder if something online looked good, probably won’t just stop by again though.

This is one of the most priciest dessert/bakery places I’ve been to. However, everything IS really good. Only thing I didn’t like was the almond cookie, it tasted a day old. But the pumpkin cake slice, madelaine, shorties were all really really good. Super flavorful and fresh. I would go here again if I’m ok with splurging on a few sweet treats. Also watch out for the limited hours

Didn’t get the hype about this place. Cream brûlée in a coffee cup for 15 dollars, which tastes bitter and honestly, didn’t want to finish it.
Pieces of cakes are could be good, but were given in a soft sleeve, so when I arrive home they were a mess.
The Sweet Spot of the City!
If you’ve got a sweet tooth and happen to find yourself free on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (because that’s the only time they bless us with their baked goodness), RUN – don’t walk – to Roselle Desserts. You’ll understand why they’ve got such a devoted following.
This month, our favorites are the roasted apple buttermilk spoon cake (seriously, this cake could convince anyone to love apples) and the pumpkin chiffon cake. We’ve started planning our weekends around this place—no joke!
And trust us, once you taste these seasonal delights, you’ll be counting down to Friday like we are!

Their desserts have truly made my day on several occasions! Can’t recommend enough and definitely worth stopping by when you’re in the area. My fave will forever be their earl grey soft serve (with all the extras), but you can’t go wrong with anything they offer. Their seasonal chiffon cakes are fluffy and not too sweet, and the cake cups are convenient perfect portions. Can’t wait to be back!

The cutest little store that sells the most beautiful desserts. Not to mention they have some options that are gluten-free, which is always amazing for a person who is allergic to gluten, but wants a sweet treat! I got their caramel salted chocolate cake, which was absolutely beautiful and also got their sweetened peach iced tea. Great service, beautiful, desserts, and very delicious.

I was running in the area and happened to see the line up. It was a short line so I thought I'd wait it out. I was a little disappointed as I got the black sesame passionfruit cake in a cup and a few cookies. The cake in a cup was so dry and did not taste like back sesame. I couldn't finish it and had to give it to my husband to finish. The passionfruit cream was nice. But still for $8.50 I would not order it again. I also got the matcha chocolate chunk cookies, birthday cake cookies and an almond toffee cookie. The chocolate chunk cookies were really good with chunks of matcha and the almond toffee cookie had whole almonds, not just bits of it. Overall I'm not sure I'd go back again. Nice to try but can't justify the calories and money for it.
