A great neighbourhood spot! We have a lot of food allergies in our group and they were so incredibly accommodating! The service was phenomenal, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The special, grilled sea bass, was the favourite at the table. Will definitely be back!

I am so surprised this restaurant got so many positive reviews. They are absolutely not up to standards. The waitress was great, but that is the ONLY good point. Fish and veggies were overcooked and dry, dessert were tasteless cheap frozen stuff you would buy at food basics, and they did not even have decent tea. The washrooms were dirty, things had spilled on the floor and dried up. Seriously, I don't understand how come they are recommended.

I celebrated my birthday at Donna Fernanda today and it was an amazing experience. 1. Location: I love the fact that they are just within a few steps from St. Mary's Parish. 2. Food: Everything was amazing! The food is fresh and seasoned appropriately. And the taste, just brought me back to Florence! We also felt like the food was prepared with love and passion. Just like how my husband (who is incidentally a Chef himself too) would prepare our food. It tasted like home. 3. Service: Julia is so wonderful! From the moment we stepped in, we really felt her warmth. She made sure we all our needs are addressed and she would regularly check-in if everything is good and up to our liking. And the best part? I brought a cake from outside and she offered to put it in the fridge while we ate. Afterwards, when we're ready for it, she prepared it and carefully arranged the candles. After we sang and blew the candle, she took the cake back and sliced it for us. She is so thoughtful. She also made a special affogato for us, which is so good too! 4. Ambiance: I think is homey and just right. Comfortable and not too overwhelming. 5. The price: super worth it! Overall, the experience is one for the books. It was worth our travel and spending my special day at Donna Fernanda's. We'll be back.

Great pizza, one of the best in the city. Staff was welcoming and the whole restaurant has a nice authentic vibe. Took family visiting from out of town and they really enjoyed it. I would recommend the pizza, lasagna and crocche di patate (potatoe croquettes) 10/10

It was an absolutely perfect night! The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was outstanding and we left feeling so excited to come back. Not only was it a celebration for my best friends Birthday, but being in such a beautiful environment with such an authentic experience, we had a special time reminiscing on our trip that we took to Italy together at the beginning of the year. We felt as if we were back in Florence and we have not been able to find a restaurant like this yet! Thank you so much for a beautiful night that we will never forget and going above and beyond to make us feel so special. We can't wait to come back!
This was our best meal in Toronto! Food was excellent! All their products are imported from Italy. The eggplant parmigiana and lasagna were some of the best I have ever had! Service was a 12/10. Check them out- you won't be disappointed!
