I have no idea why I waited so long to visit this gem of an iconic Jamaican restaurant.Today was my first time visiting and let me tell you it won't be my last!The Chicken Roti was amazing! The Roti literally weighed 5 pounds they really stuff it with a lot of chicken and potatoes.And they serve that signature coleslaw on the side as well!The food gets a 100 out of 100!Can't wait to go back to try some more dishes!Well I went back after a couple of days and I got me some Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas and Fried Plantains!You gotta eat here it's phenomenal and your taste buds will thankyou!Also the customer service is amazing. I really enjoyed chatting it up with the young lady at the counter!Very nice people. The food and the kindness will bring a smile to your face!

I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years and I have NEVER had a bad experience with any of the staff until yesterday. I’ve brought literally everyone I know to this restaurant, brought my dad who doesn’t eat at restaurants, not only because of the food and the feeling of “home”, but because of the respectful staff, especially the lady who used to take orders, she was friendly and welcoming, always running jokes and suggesting drinks to try while waiting. Case in point, yesterday, I brought 2 of my friends for the first time, I ordered the Royal Combo, a large Jerk Chicken dinner, and Curry Chicken dinner; one of my friends ordered a large jerk chicken dinner and a large oxtail dinner, my other friend bought a large oxtail dinner, and we all got a side order of festival, as you can imagine, we collectively spent over $100. We patiently waited for the food because we understand that they are busy, when our orders were ready, the new lady at the front charged me $55 for my order and my friends paid for their food and we left. I didn’t think to check the bag as I have never had any concerns in the past. When we reached our destination, and I took out my order to give my brother his Jerk Chicken, it wasn’t in the bag. I contacted the restaurant right away to let them know that I didn’t get the Jerk Chicken, the response that I got from the front lady left me too stunned and embarrassed to speak. She basically told me that I was lying as she put the order in the bag. I reiterated that I did not get it, she stated “well it’s too late to dispute now, and I’m not gonna argue with you. Next time you come to the store let us know and we will give you the food.” She hung up. I contacted them today to pick up the food, met with the same disrespect again, arguing and hung up the phone on me. Why would I pay $55 to lie about $13 food? I live over 45 minutes away from the place, it’s completely pointless. I won’t stop going to the restaurant obviously, because I’m not going to let her lack of customer service skills run mi out, but maybe do some education with the face of the restaurant on customer service as there is almost always negative stigma when it comes to the front staff at Jamaican restaurants. I didn’t think that would reach this restaurant.Vegetarian options: They have Ital selections.

I went to Royal Caribbean Cafe twice for dinner. It is not a typical dining restaurant. You ordered the food at the counter and the food arrive in a takeout containers. There wasn't much service.The food was pretty good. I had the goat curry and fried chicken. I stuck to what I know, but there was wide variety of Jamaican dishes.Would I go back? Yes, since the food was pretty good.
