Very welcoming and Accommodating. The worker in the front named Elaine was very nice and helpful. She definitely made our thanksgiving the best. Will definitely be coming back soon especially cause they are open almost all holidays!!

We ordered the jerk chicken platter and BBQ chicken sandwich. The jerk chicken was moist. The BBQ sandwich was juicy. Decent value for money when you consider the location.
Fast food style.

This is by far their best location. I have lunch here often and the food is great. The older lady and the young fella always give great customer service. Great food and good customer service makes my mornings. Come A little earlier than lunch for a quick In and out!

OG Sandy advertised as best sandwich in Toronto. It sucked. The bun was thin and a small, the chicken barely warm and lacking flavor, coleslaw topping was lame, tomato tasteless and skimpy. And overpriced considering how small it is.

Server (black Pittsburgh pirates hat) was rude and ignorant - spent 5 minutes reorganizing the fridge until he finally took my order (after serving someone else before me even though I was there first...). I got the jerk chicken sandwich and he filtered through the chicken for 30 seconds to find the smallest piece possible. $12 for this??? Absolute rip off! Very unfortunate as I used to come here often... quality and portions have dropped significantly.

The place definitely has potential — however it needs work on the flavour, portions and variety. The jerk chicken came out a bit dry and the sides and portions felt on the smaller side. The price also seemed a little high considering the dish was mostly rice.
On top of that, my friend’s order was charged as a large instead of a small, which wasn’t handled well by staff.

Very good service and good food. Eline was excellent
Great food and service. Eline was fantastic. Would come back anytime.
Honestly did not enjoy the food, the stars are for the customer service since the server was kind. I ordered the oxtail meal with coleslaw and a patty. The oxtail was bland and just tasted like browning and maybe salt, nothing Caribbean about the flavors, the rice and peas were also flavorless and left me feeling sick, after two or three bites I decided I wasn’t going to force it. I thought the patty would do some redeeming but it was also disappointing and just tasted old and the pastry was rock hard in some places and the inside filing was just a mush. The coleslaw was the only part of the meal that was decent, however if I’m being honest it was quite watery and I could see when I was being served that it was the “bottom of the barrel” and the server had to scrape the tin to get my serving.
I’ve never thrown away so much food and felt like I’ve wasted so much money, I would have gone back for a refund if time permitted but hopefully I can save someone else from making the same mistake and learn to read reviews before taking a risk on restaurants.
I’m writing to share feedback regarding a recent visit to your Cityplace location. I went for lunch with my roommate, excited to try Jamaican food for the first time. I ordered a combo that included mac and cheese, oxtail, chicken, plantain, and rice.
To my surprise, the mac and cheese and plantain were not added to my order. When I politely asked about the missing items, the counter staff mumbled something and proceeded to the cash register without offering an explanation or compensation. My total came to $23 with tax, yet I left feeling disappointed by both the incomplete order and the service I received.
The staff’s demeanor felt dismissive and did not reflect the level of customer service I expect—especially at that price point. I urge you to speak with the manager at this location about how customers are being treated. I believe your branches should provide an inclusive and welcoming environment where people feel happy to dine.
