Ice cream pints are 14.99 for the smaller tub. I liked the cookie with seasalt, the Hawaiian treat wasn't for me but it's always fun to try new treats.
Had 2 different scoop, one passion fruit ice cream and one cinnamon toast crunch. Friend had the miso butterscotch
This is my second visit, first time I believe I had banoffee pie and a second flavour, can't remember. Always a good time at ruru.
Also tried their pandan coconut and calamansi at the we life event

Small-batch custard ice cream. Things I liked: Great creamy custard texture. From the colour of the ice cream it doesn’t look like they use any artificial colourants, which is nice. Not too sweet! Asian flavour options! Things I didn’t love: I like the Asian-inspired flavours in theory but found them a bit… mild… for my preference I like slightly stronger. (I tried Oolong and Black Sesame, I’ve had better in flavour although not in texture). Seating quite limited, plan for takeout.

Please update your hours on Apple Maps - it shows as closing at 9 so I drove across town and it was closed when I arrived at 8:30. So disappointing and you just lost a customer.

If you're nearby, you have to go and check out the ice cream, they always have some interesting and delicious flavours, you won't be disappointed- can't recall what flavours i got but there were fantastic!

Ruru’s ice cream are good and this limited edition tofu with ginger is jam st the right amount of sweetness and the kick from ginger will be subtle first then it hits you and will linger for awhile.. good but not something I will look for .

They have their own unique flavours which they switch out from time to time. I tried apple pie, which was delish. Only thing is they don’t allow samples which might be a bummer for some people.

SHOUTOUT to the cool server/cashier! (insert correct pronoun here) were really patient and told me which flavours were the most popular, sweet and explained how the pint flavours were different from the cone flavours etc. really appreciate it! ?↕️?
i got the “flight” (3 mini scoops) - the recommended ontario apple pie, mais con yelo & pecan party. all were sweet and more importantly, texturally interesting! they had cornflakes and caramel, nut flavors infused in all of them and incorporated. it’s sticky gooey goodness. love.
ild be back to try more flavours!

Got the mais con yelo flavour the other day. Had to buy a pint to take home, it was just THAT good. Excellent and unique selection. If you're feeling something out of the norm but still amazingly good, definitely give this place a try. I am coming back way more often.
